This isn't really a spoiler but for people who have seen it, when Marshall gave Lucas his money what money was it, it looked like American but there Canadian, but then again, I don't know what Canadian money looks like.

I know the feeling. My purse is as empty as can be. I went shopping t'other day and spent it all *sigh* well at least i spent it on worthwhile stuff (New Muse album, new Starsailor album, new Pratchett book, choccie, good luck card for Manda).

that's interesting. the currency used would be a hint to where the school is located in the show, i don't think we know where the school is located (in the show, not real life). Is there a lot of American money floating around Canada? I don't see a lot of Canadian money down here in the US, every so often, a canadian "penny" and a 10 cent piece will show up.

i'm actually not sure what money they used...
as many of you know the show is filmed in canada (Hamilton, Ontario to be exact) with an all canadian cast.
We intentionally don't say whether it's in Canada or the US because we want viewers in both countries to feel like this is a show for them (which it is.)
Incidentally, when I created the show, I had it set in a fictional town called Briar Springs, New York which was supposed to be somewhere upstate, but that's never been mentioned in the show and probably never will be.

Aaaah! That would explain why one of the articles in TV Choice said the science club were 'New York teens'. It's not essential information but it's interesting. And could be good for fanfics set outside the school. Thanks, Jim!

Ah, but there's no way we're going to believe that they live just outside London or on the outskirts of Birmingham or anything

I LOVE CANADA!! anyway. heheh. (poor me, living in Phoenix, Arizona...yearns for Toronto) *drools..*..Tony...canadian..mmmm. hehe. you guys make the best tv shows. but i heard Arnold S. wants to bring back the filmmaking done in Canada (from the US) back to the US. I hope not. I want to be a filmmaker in Toronto someday...if my path goes that way. oh, btw, Happy 'late' Thanksgiving canada!! *KISS KISS*
