It was deffinitely a trophy of some sort - something to do with science (well duh, it's victor : Sorry I forgt to mention the school dissapearing. I forget about it because my mind skips from Marshall saving Lucas to them making up (and eyes) afterwards So my mind tends to focus on what I think is important Don't judge me

This episode intrigues me the more I hear about it.
Stupid Australian TV and there lack of decent free-to-airness. Thankfully I may be getting pay TV soon. Stupid lack of seeing episodes.

The first season is great! The second season is more relationshippy, but not so correct with the science stuff. I still hold my grudge against the pink electricity.

The second season arouses more excitement about Paeradyne. I'd like two find out where the name 'Pearadyne' derived from. I'd expect the 'Pear' part to come from the first syllable of Victor's surname... but the 'adyne' part? Was there another person responsible for the creation of Pearadyne Labs?

The 'a' was most likely added for flow, makes the word sound better.
These are the definitions for DYNE:
Definition One
DYNE: Dictionary Entry and Meaning Pronunciation: dIn
WordNet Dictionary Definition: [n] a unit of force equal to the force that imparts an acceleration of 1 cm/sec/sec to a mass of 1 gram See Also: force unit, N, newton Webster's 1913 Dictionary Definition: \Dyne\, n. [Formed fr. Gr. ? power. See {Dynamic}.] (Physics) The unit of force, in the C. G. S. (Centimeter Gram Second) system of physical units; that is, the force which, acting on a gram for a second, generates a velocity of a centimeter per second.
Definition Two
A device which combines objects without loss of information.
Definition Three
From the Greek word dynamis, meaning power.
All three definitions fit pretty well, considering the nature of Pearadyne.

Well, AuenDestiny's excellent research skills quickly put a stop to what I hoped woulda been an interesting subject to speculate about I s'pose we could always speculate about... erm... where Marshall got that darn snazzy tie he was wearing at the end of Genome when they're all off to whatever crazy shin-dig the kids are into these days...

We can still discuss the subject of where Pearadyne's name came from. OK we know where the 'Pear' part came from obviously, but the 'adyne' part is suspicious really ...

I only discovered this show a couple weeks ago (I looked up So Weird for the first time in years and someone discussing recommended this show for arc-ness and such). Just watched all the eps on YouTube. Now, while I did like the show before this episode, the ending on this one is the really captured my interest. You know, the future radio message about 5 members of the science club, all seniors. I was dying to see how that played out. That it didn't was probably the biggest disappointment of the series to me. I really wanted to see this group of kids have that big announcement to make.
BTW, does anyone know if any fics did "virtual fourth season" sort of thing that did utilize the ending hinted at in this episode? Because I would love to read that.
