hey emma is honestly the nicest person i know-- ive known her since kindergarten, but we only became friends about 5 years ago-- shes the best!== she helped throw me a surprise birthday party and made me this huge scrapbook full of our inside jokes and pictures-- when shes acting and out of town and stuff, its hard to stay in contact, but we always find time for each other-- and yes! im so proud of her!=-=- who wouldn't be?-- she works very hard at what she does and is extremely dedicated-- she deserves everything because she has worked so hard for it... Awh! Boy would I love it if I knew Emma...

Haha. **hemhem *puts on 'mean!mod' hat* we've talked about 'haha' posts before, haven't we? Hmmmm. Please modify this post to say something relevant and/or amusing so we can at least pretend the topic is still on track? If you can't do that then delete the post. I'm not going to do it for you, it's your choice but I'd prefer it if you did, for the sake of the quality of the board. *takes off mean!mod hat* Sorry to sound so horrid. - HS**

Actually, Indigo, you have quite a good point. I've never really thought about the longevity of their relationship. Chances are that if they did go out they'd probably not last very very long. I think their relationship would probably be a bit unstable becuase even though they both seem like strong characters, they're actually both extremely vunerable underneath. They both need somebody to keep them 'grounded' and somebody supportive. And Josie's guy would probably need lots of patientce. I think, theoretcally now, (don't shoot me!) that Corinne would be very good for Vaughn, she's sensitive, understanding and has both feet placed firmly on the ground. I don't know, maybe they'll find each other when they're older. As for Josie, I haven't a clue really. Lucas probably couldn't handle her and as he's also quite prone to 'going off on one' their relationship could turn very sour (particularly when you take into consideration the fact that they're both capable of being very stubborn). I certainly wouldn't put Josie with Marshall, the vibe is totally wrong. However they do seem to be quite good friends, they discussed 'Vaughn's secret' (i.e. gel or mousse?) together and he went to talk to her in 'Culture' when she was feeling down. The way he gave her shoulder a little squeeze just befor he left her alone could be considered in a romantic light but I think it was rather more brotherly or even a bit paternal. Please excuse my innane rambling. HS, I completely agree with you on Corrine and Vaughn! **Dodges bullet** It's a perfect match. Corrine is the rock that Vaughn can lean on emotionally and mentally! But for now, he's infactuated with Joise....probably because she's open minded, speaks her mind, unique, and "very interesting". Like he said when Joise was running for class president..." (blah blah I can't remember what he said before that ) ...you're the most interesting person that I know." Of couse that's going to appeal to any guy, so naturally he wants to know more. Like some have been saying, the Josie/Vaughn thing is not going to last. They have too many strikes against them. Also, I believe this is when Joise realizes how badly she has been treating Lucas. Marshall will not be able to handle Joise. They have a brother/sister relationship. Lucas..don't underestimate him! Given the chance, I'm sure he'll be able to roll alongside with Joise. He'll probably "TAME BIG RED!" ;D

My thoughts on these matters change on a regular basis. I'm still not sure about whether J/V would last but they deffinitely have the chemistry. I get the feeling that Vaughn's feelings for Josie are deeper than hers for him... Not to bring everything back to music or anything... there's a song on Dido's new album that gives me a notion of how things may turn out in the end (a long time after the show is done, of course) - it's called Mary's in India (of course, the names don't match but the story would be very similar). if I can be bothered then I'll post the lyrics in the Songs thread. The basic idea would be that Josie will eventually leave Vaughn hanging and he'll be very depressed for a while - Corrine will worry about him. As he starts to recover, with her support, they'll grow together and look after each other. What'll happen to Josie? Who knows... it's hard to tell. But she isn't going to stay in one place for very long - she's spent her whole life moving around and I doubt that she'll find it easy to stop. lucas might be able to, if he really wanted to. But I personally don't think he does. I think he's got a lot of romantic thoughts attached to the idea of going out with Josie, or a girl like Josie. When he's dissilussioned he'll lose all interest in her (romanticly). Lucas thinks he likes Josie. but he also thinks the FBI are after him
