*snerk* Ghetto speak amuses me. I never use it myself - probably because I'm about as ghetto as a white lower-middle-class girl living in Wales.... hold on, I am . It's incredibly pretentious (and not in a good way) to put on that kind of tone when you don't know 'the ghetto' from a cheese and pickle sandwich. So 'American Eagle' is a sort of clothing-preference label thing, like 'goth' or (if you're british) a 'townie' (but not the same). Well. That doesn't say a great deal about his personality, just about his clothes. I will reserve judgement until I meet them. Which will probably be never. There's not much point in making a fuss over it. The important thing is the characters, as I have said many times before and will probably say many times again.

I appear unemotional which apparently makes people think i'm angry with them. I often won't start out saying "hi" to someone because I really won't see them in the hallway until i've completely passed them. I just stare off into my own little world.
I can, but I become afraid of what they may be thinking.
so if you're in the UK, "gosh" = "townie"?
wait, how did this topic get onto this? *looks back at prevous posts*

This is a little eerie: we're alike. I'm shy but usually friendly. I don't really talk much with people I barely know, but when I'm with friends I'm much more talkative. Sometimes I wonder how people perceive me .... And like I said earlier: Lucas/Michael is adorable!

Heh, maybe the bunch of us should start some sort of support group. "Shy BHH fans R us" maybe I suppose we're not all that much off topic, I mean the original question was why do we like the geeks? And the roundabout answer is that thay are *insert dramatic pause here* Our People *solemn* *smirks* Ah, no, I was just trying to think of labels people are given. Townies are like the opposites of goths (but, bizarrely, fundementally similar - the main difference is the clothes) - They wear expensive sports clothes in pale colours (white/grey, cream/beige and grey/blue seem to be favourites). they usually act dead 'hard' and do a lot of stupid things to escape from the harsh reality of their dead-end lives and nowhereness. Now THAT is off topic *dusts hands*

Been fun watching the 'are Noah and MFS nice or not' debate rage on and since I know both of them I will add my 2 cents worth. First, no one in this world is liked by everyone. Second, MFS has a booming, deep voice (you always know where MFS is) though you wouldn't know this from BHH because his voice is equalized by the sound department to match everyone else's voice. Did he yell at a guy in the school lineup? Maybe, I wasn't there. Chances are he just used his loud, actor voice and it was construed as a yell. MFS has a great sense of humour (as does Noah) and both are genuinely approachable guys. Both are astute, intelligent and emotionally intuitive young men. But we all need to be reminded sometimes that our actions are inappropriate. Maybe if the offended party had come back with a smartass response or made it clear that they were not amused, the situation would have been resolved there and then. MFS and Noah are good guys, really they are.
Sincerely, a friend

That sounds like a balanced and fair account to me *applauds* I'm satisfied with that Even nice people misbehave sometimes, I suppose (see, MirrorCard, it isn't just me! j/k [Disclaimer: Hail is actually nice. Mostly.]) I blame teenage hormones. And, er, sugar.
