But...but...when he was Josie, and especially when he was Corinne...he still had...you know.... His body took on the, um, same shape as theirs. I'm not sure I think that was just aesthetic.
Like you said, we all know the truth.

But...but...when he was Josie, and especially when he was Corinne...he still had...you know.... His body took on the, um, same shape as theirs. explain it to me *remembers Who?* I'm not sure I think that was just aesthetic. You cannot take the appearance of something you have not seen. A chameleon, which is what his ability comes from, camouflages according to what the background is, but not what is inside the background. So, if Tyler was able to take off his shirt when he was Josie, he would be revealing his chest because he was not able to see Josie's chest. Like the chameleon's power, the change is aethetic since he doesn't become a copy of Josie but instead a copy of her visible appearance. That shape you spoke of - the height and hip structure - would go away if he removed his clothes. But how would that work with clothes? If his shoes and socks become sandles (I was very tempted to use their Australian name ;D ), he would be taking them off differently. Now I sound as perverted as you . Jesi is going to use this against me

I haven't been in this part of the boards for a while, sounds interesting, I think i'll try - anyone participating? oh and who are the Smiths? There's a link to a wikipedia article about them in the first post. But the short version is that they were a band in the 80's and made awesome angsty music that strikes a chord with teenagers everywhere, but in a slightly more intelligent way that most angsty teen-loved bands (more pollitical, lots of refferences to poetry and literature). And if you would try that would be super! Nobody's written anything yet some it would be great if you'd start it off (and if nobody else writes anything, that would make you technically the winner)

Well, I don't entirely blame you. It's pretty disheartening not getting many reviews. If you want lots of reviews you've got to have JV and/or J/L slush with extra gooey C/M shoved in there (becuz its 'cute') , spelling and grammar are purely optional, and it really helps if there's a big important school dance, a new character, some of the catchphrases that are constantly bandied about in fics (Lucas says chillax twice, maybe three times in the show. Not all the time...) and a nice handful of cliches. (me? i'm not bitter *whistles innocently*) Definietely it's a bummer when you see your stuff ignored over that stuff. Been there, done that, didn't get the T-shirt. lol, I don't insist on J/Z (I try to avoid anything smacking as The One True Pairing) , but I do think it's a good possibility, and I enjoy reading it and writing it. I vaguely remember in PearadyneI discussing various pairings for femmeslash. One I've always thought possible, is that pink!Josie in the mirror universe seduced Corrine to help loosen her up. She was pretty insistent in her sharing a room. I actually think Marshall/Tyler would be interesting in a dark bdsm cat and mouse sort of way. Though I haven't heard of the group and tend to shy away from songfics though I could be persuaded to read something based on "To Sir with Love" of "Don't Stand so Close to Me", by Sting.

I'm writing something now, thanks for the songs. I had no idea the Smith's sung the original version of the Charmed opening.

That's okay, Gouki, you've got a lot to deal with at the moment. Big life events are much more important than writing fanfic. It would be great to read anything from you, BHS - don't be down on yourself I think now would be a good time to mention that I'm extending the final date of the challenge to the 30th of June. My exams will be over by then so it'll be easier to do things like sorting out polls etc. to decide a winner (if anybody enters).
