I just saw Transference. Good episode overall.
BE WARNED: I give very, very detailed spoilers. If you don't want to be spoiled, why are you in the spoiler thread?
It started off with a recap of Stopwatch ad then the clone disappearing after a little conversation with the janitor. Lucas and Josie find the ball missing and immediately go off looking for where it could be. They run into Vaughn, naturally, and after a few words Vaughn grabs Josie--whilst holding the Chi Gong ball--and they get zapped by the purple energy.
On a side note, the opening narration has a new line and has been completely re-recorded it seems: "Could this floating ball be the key to the mystery?"
Anyway, Josie sits through science taking no notes, while Vaughn scribbles down everything he can about Cold Fusion. He gets Marshall to set him up with somethings to build one and begins to. And it works. thus, he gives it to Victor later in the episode, because he can't stand to see him so broken after the Chi Gong ball was stolen.
Before they go to Vaughn's room, they see Marshall rehearsing with Magnet360 when a Back to the Future inspired explosion engulfs them, which is caused by the Cold Fusion Machine.
Corrine fumes about Vaughn stealing her plans, it's pretty funny when she storms out. At first the--I'm fighting very hard to call them the Scoobies--gang thinks it's the cold fusion machine causing Josie's "less smartness" and so, Lucas pockets Vaughn's keys to the basement lab at his place and ropes Marshall into going in with him.
Somewhere around here Josie is "introduced to Vaughn", who she thinks "has a nice name" which is just a grat scene. And then Z talks to Vaughn a bit and tells him, frankly, that if his happiness comes at the cost of Josie, it doesn't deserve to last.
Together they muse over how to destroy the machine, until Lucas takes the initiative and uses a pole to push it to the ground amidst Marshall's cries of "Who are you?!" (He seems to like Lucas taking charge...) A security protocol locks them in until Vaughn rescues them. Only for Victor to catch Vaughn. He takes the blame comnpletely, and stands up to Victor who looks like he will hit Vaughn.
Meanwhile, Josie's brain barely has enough energy to keep her awake. So, Vaughn arrives prepared to make things right, and holds the Chi Gong ball in her hand and then closes his hand over the top of that, and then they kiss. She regains her intelligence--with Lucas looking away at this point--"Did someone just kiss me?" - Josie "That may have been me..." - Vaughn
The next day they angst over where they stand with Vaughn. Lucas is the only one that thinks Josie shoudl stay angry. Josie herself is unsure.
Josie2 returns the Chi Gong ball to a broken Victor who can't even bring himself to answer the phone. If you still think he is evil (assuming you ever did) after watching this scene you are a moron. "Take better care of it this time. You have it for a reason." After this, the Janitor asksif he'll be seeing her again soon and rather than reply, he creates a portal for her and she disapears.

Thanks, Gouki. I can't resist spoilers no matter how hard I try. "Transference" sounds like an awesome resolution to "Stopwatch." And a kiss in this episode, cool! I guess this episode answer the questions "And what will the reappearance of Josie's enigmatic clone mean to the group? Are she and the mysterious janitor working with the science club, or against them?" (from Season 3 thread).

Sounds like a great episode...thanks Gouki...
Now what's with the cold fusion? what's the purpose of 'making' a machine and then destroying it? not that cold fusion exactly 'works' in reality...anyway...was it just to explode Magnet 360º and have some cool special effects?...
Did Victor see Josie2 when she gave him the qigong ball?
Why did the Janitor have to send Josie2 back through a light slip when it appears he didn't bring her through a light slip this time to get her here? Couldn't she have gone back where she was from on her own as she seems to have appeared on her own without the Janitor's knowledge?
Is it possible the BHH Energy made Josie 'dumb' to keep her from interferring with Josie2 giving the qigong ball to Victor?

It started off with a recap of Stopwatch ad then the clone disappearing after a little conversation with the janitor. the irony. you said your spoilers are very detailed but you didn't tell us what the conversation was about. Lucas and Josie find the ball missing and immediately go off looking for where it could be. They run into Vaughn, naturally, and after a few words Vaughn grabs Josie--whilst holding the Chi Gong ball--and they get zapped by the purple energy. Vaughn finding Josie and lucas together in Josie's room, that must not have been a good feeling for him. How did that play out? Why did Josie2 give the chi gong ball to Vaughn? Vaughn scribbles down everything he can about Cold Fusion. He gets Marshall to set him up with somethings to build one and begins to. And it works. thus, he gives it to Victor later in the episode, it's one of those "Happy Birthday dad!" moments . Just what every dad wants, the day his son or daughter successfully builds a cold fusion machine. Lucas pockets Vaughn's keys to the basement lab at his place and ropes Marshall into going in with him. geez, Lucas is such a criminal. pickpocketing, breaking into locked rooms *shakes head* . then Z talks to Vaughn a bit and tells him, frankly, that if his happiness comes at the cost of Josie, it doesn't deserve to last. huh? talk about a teacher overstepping his bounds. must have been a good drama moment. Josie2 returns the Chi Gong ball to a broken Victor who can't even bring himself to answer the phone. ... "Take better care of it this time. You have it for a reason." wow, broken Victor. That must have been scary to see (unless you thought it was funny to watch). so, she just walked in and gave it back? I knew she had one of those bad girl looks. Now what's with the cold fusion? what's the purpose of 'making' a machine and then destroying it? not that cold fusion exactly 'works' in reality...anyway...was it just to explode Magnet 360º and have some cool special effects?... I think it builds into the thing where Vaughn took the blame for Lucas and Marshall.

the irony. you said your spoilers are very detailed but you didn't tell us what the conversation was about. Very well, after the janitor tracks Josie2 to the staircase, he asks her if hse knows what she doing. She replies something to the effect of "the timeline has to be restored", and so he does a smile sort of thing (because he doesn't know how to smile properly it seems) and she restores time ot it's proper speed. Atually, this scene takes place out in the hall. Josie2 never gave him hte Chi gong ball. He ahs the non-gravity defying one that Josie left in place of the otehr one the defied gravity. Victor: I have never been more proud of you than I am at this moment. So, yeah, he is proud. That's going to add more to the whole Josie/Z thing, I can tell. Not that I'm complaining. Broken Victor was sad to watch. the way he picks up the phone, looks at it for about five seconds and then throws it at the Chi gong ball storage thing. Of course, Josie2 pops up and does her time Stop dealy, and replaces the ball. Then she disappears after giving him the not so subtle warnings and, time returns to normal. the phone hit's the storage thing. Victor sees the ball and he rejoices. Correct.Vaughn builds it without anyone knowing--until it causes power overlaods and explosions--and then he gives it to his dad. Everyone thinks the machine is making Josie stupid, and so Lucas goes down to destory it. And I feel I should point out: there was no actual rope. they did not have time for funky bondage fun.

So the Janitor wasn't in control of Josie2...she was acting of her own free will...interesting...and up to this point we've been led to believe the Janitor knows and controls everything...
And Victor still doesn't know Josie has a clone...like to see his reaction when he does...quickest way to drive Victor insane - put him between two Josies and let them argue...good image...*hehehe*... Victor: "There's two of them...two of them...two...two...two...two..."
