Yeah, that's what I think is the problem.
Which kinda stinks...
Seeing as everytime I try a new server, it tells me that I have to wait 51 hours, which is completely ridiculous and I think I'd have all my hair pulled out before it finished.

If you're on dial-up, you have no choice. If you're not on dial-up, pick a random number, choose that server, and wait. Your speed should increase over time as more people finish their downloads. Personally, mine took less than an hour and a half.

Really? Because I don't have dial up and I started a download last night and when I woke up this morning it was telling me I had to wait around 50 some hours.
And then I've been choosing different servers after that, and still, after an hour or so of downloading, it tells me the same thing.
But I'll keep trying.

I don't have dial-up and the same issue with the speed going down has been happening with me all night. I have tried all the servers and no matter which one I pick, the download speed just keeps decreasing Not only that, but once the speeds a certain low, my virtual memory goes very low. So yea, this isn't working for me

This is rediculous...
...how about someone with the file uploads it elsewhere, and then only informs a few people of the link. Leave it a couple of days, to give them a chance to download it, and then give the link to a couple more people etc. Staging downloads in this manner would keep bandwidth under control.

The download is starting to work faster for me now. It's actually around 70% done.
When it does get finished, I could upload it on something like Rapidshare or something to make it faster if people still couldn't get it. But ONLY if I got permission from golfdude who posted it originally. Because I wouldn't want to be redistributing something that they had gotten originally.
On the other hand, what Mac had said really works. If you are on Broadband, just randomly pick a number and wait it out, the speed should increase if you give it a bit of time.

Well... I would... but.... I decided to go take a shower and I figured by the time I got out that it would be finished, or at least gone up a few in percents. But it turns out that the speed is really really rapidly decreasing (I'm assuming because more and more people are trying to download it) It had originally said that it would be finished in 35 minutes, then 45, and now it's back up to near an hour. But that's completely and totally resonable considering what I had to wait before. So I'm planning on waiting it out.
But in the event that I do get this finished, I don't think I would post it on a faster server until you got permission from the person who ripped it onto the computer. I don't think it's at all fair to them for me to redistribute it.
*goes back to waiting*
