Jesi, you know they say you're only as old as you feel. Watch some of your favourite childhood stuff and you'll soon be feeling young again. I myself watched The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland today. It was great seeing the Sesame Street characters again.

For some reason, I thought that Islander would be the first person to wish me Happy Birthday, and I'm not at all suprised that Gideon was the second.

This year's collection of gifts was pretty good. Apart from the inevitable wad of cash I usually get owing to the fact that people don't know what to get me, I got a new hat, a new pair of gloves and a new camera (which is almost every piece of walking related gear I wanted or needed but didn't get for Christmas), as well as a box of chocolates, a book of random knowledge and a DVD. It's this just-over-thirty-year-old film about a guy who pretends to be insane to escape a prison sentence. I'm sure somebody here has heard of it.
