There's no guarantee that it'll work, Joe, but if you want cable then start by asking for a dragon and work your way down to "oh well, I'll just have to settle for digital cable then..." If it doesn't work then you at least get the chance to wind your 'rents up! LOL, I'll try that. My friend has Digital and I think it's really cool, I'm the only person in this house who isn't "technology-challenged". I think it would be too much of a shock to my family to go from 65 channels to 200+. They'd all look like this --> Hehehehe

Yes, we do but it's nothing that I watch... there's about 10 news channels, 5 sports channels, MTV, VH1, kids programming, shopping channels.. all junk stuff. The only good ones are the Classic Movie channel and of COURSE my PBS! I LOVE British comedy too... As Time Goes By, Are You Being Served, and Keeping Up Appearances are my favorites.

Omigoddess once again!
On channel 1, owned by the BBC, they show various mainstream programmes like dramas, soaps, documentaries and at special points in the day the BBC news.
Channel 2 is also owned by the BBC and shows programmes and such that aren't mainstream but popular, also after school the BBC has Children'sBBC with kids programmes and kids news!
Then, channel 3 is owned by ITV, they show after school CiTV, (children's itv) they have their own news and some programmes, soaps and dramas that the BBC don't already show.
Where I live, channel four is mainly a welsh channel, but some english programmes are shown too.
Our channel five is sky digital and we use a seperate remote to go on the different channels on this paticular channel, some people, though(depending on where you live) have channel five which just mainly shows dramas.
We have another channel, channel 9, for videos, but that varies on your vcr and your tv!

what did they show on the commerical? I managed to get a tape of it today (I sat there for an hour and a half, determined to catch it) I'll watch it again tommorow and give you a more detailed account. It's mainly the kids introducing themselves (minus Vaughn though) with clips from episodes and a bit of commentary just saying that weird things go on and such. Eventually I will get some pictures from it (ones not from the seiries, of course)

That's my constant lament with sky digital: over 900 channels and there's still nothing on

I know! Most channels are absolutley useless, and don't start showing programmes til 7pm and still it only has reviews or previews! E4 is currently only showing Big Brother, the most boring show on t.v.

I haven't a clue about stuff like that, it's up to my dad, he's the brains of the operation. I think there's probably only a few special packages and to get all the chanels we want we have to put up with lots of random, pointless ones that nobody watches (things like religious chanels and news chanels in hindi and chinese and stuff). It used to be a lot harder though, because we didn't have the menus and to get to the chanel you wanted you had to wade through an edless amount of german and french stuff. My friend used to have a satelite that gave them 4 english channels and all the rest in german. German MTV is funny!

Yaaaay! It's on tommorow! Fox Kids are playing the advert non-stop, they really like to hammer a point home, that chanel. I keep thinking: this time next week, I'll have five episodes on tape! I can't wait to get screen caps and stuff! When I do I'll be able to get started on my website, which Danielle has kindly agreed to host for me so it doesn't even have to be geocities! Rah! (you may be able to tell but I'm just a leeetle bit excited)
