Well, we've seen up to Nanotechnology in America, and Tyler joins in the Josie obsessing. *applauds Scooter*...correct...Tyler joins...and we've discussed Josie's 'entourage' on the spoiler board...and she acquires more but they're spoilers so I can't say for now...

Now, I'm not one to dwell on something, oh who am I kidding, was it me or did Lucas look a little to comfortable in the blind fold...as if to say, yea 'been there done that' Kaytee

After watching Vision and rewatching Genome, I think whoever had the theory on Lucas was right. He doesnt really have feelings for Josie. He just hates being wrong and losing. He wants Josie just like he wants to prove Victor and Vaughn are up to no good, and just like he wants to win at cards. He hates being wrong and losing. I think if Josie actually did change her mind and go after Lucas, he'd quickly grow tired of her like he did of Katya.
LOL, The Lucster was actually pretty cool until near the end, when he was getting really annoying.

Mac! Mac! That was me!! I said Lucas doesn't have feelings for Josie at all! He's all about winning and very competitive. He sortof follows the 'can't have what you want' rule. For instance, you wouldn't really want soemthing if you know you can have it, but if someone tells you, you can't have it you want it more. And that's what I think it comes down to. We've seen this in "Radio" and now "Vision" Lucas is there for himself... plus, he's a playa he knows how to work tha game!

Radio, Genome, Nutrition, Transference, Tesseract, and Vision. All episodes in which he simply refuses to lose. He knows he's no good at sports, so he tries to compensate by being ultracompetitive at anything else, including girls. LOL, is Kaytee trying to steal credit for my hypothesis?

*Clears throat* excuse me but that was my argument all along whilst everyone was on the 'Lucas is in love with Josie, he's jealous of Vaughn' I was all, uh uh Lucas is a playa, he just doesn't like loosing. He said so himself in Nocturnal-- he was all "I don't know the meaning of the word fail" and that's were I got my answers from. I know this style ;D Kaytee

I'd say that that was just an interpritation pf how you saw it, I doubt the writers intended it. If they did they'd make sure it was more obvious. Unless they do so in series four, but I doubt it.

Well, all our opinons are interpretations of how we perceive what is shown. That is why I come here to gain others perspective as well as give mine.
I believe Lucas' is a 'just try to prove me wrong' type of guy. He stands strong to his beliefs. ;D

OMG! I never thought of Corrine and Tyler...But, but..It's perfect! Especially since Marshall doesn't like him....It would make things so interesting! You're right, that would be REALLY interesting.. it would stop ME from missing the epi's!

I'd say it's not as simple as him just doing it to be 'right' and to not 'fail' - I'd say that he really beleives he has feelings for Josie but they're feelings he's talked himself into and while they feel all strong and terrible, they're mostly illusionary, about as substantial as the science bit in a face cream advert. To his concious mind, he's acting this way because he cares about Josie and Vaughn is evilevilevil and will betray them all. SUBconciously, however, he's doing it because he can't stand to fail, to be wrong, especially when it involves actual direct competition (Vaughn).

I feel Lucas has come to terms that he has actually won. I think when Josie came to him in Stopwatch he saw that as beating Vaughn and is happy. Now it's just more of a how can I keep them apart thing for him. I seriously feel if someone else caught Lucas' eye he'd be like Josie who? I think that's the type of guy he is; he gets infatuated and then it's like...bored now, next?!

Yes, Lucas has accomplished what he set out to do. And though he hasn't done it fully, for Josie to come as quick as she did and rescue him and him to hold her the way he did in front of Vaughn was probably the tip of the iceberg for him. Ohh Lucas, my boy what's next?

Off to chase anthor pretty gal or make anthor conspiracy. I do see that Lucas is very competive. It makes me happy that he has no feelings for Josie. I just think he wants to show the world that he is not the geeky loser boy everyone thinks he is.
