Ah! So 'it' is short-hand for delusions of grandeur? I see *strokes chin in infuriatingly pretentious manner*

Personally I preffer Delusions of adequacy.
Arguably, as a paranoid type, Lucas has delusions of grandeur - he assumes that he's important enought for people to want to do bad things just to upset him. That's a much less obnoxious for of it though. When you take the fear factor away it mutates into 'OMGIRULE syndrome'. makes sense to me.

The Lucster was too pretentious for his own good. I would much rather have seen Canon-Lucas give Stu his commupance. It is all well and good to have IT going on. But when IT seems to be stupidty, it doesn't work as well.
I haven't seen Nutrition yet, so I can't comment on that.
Mirror-Lucas was amusing. He's the only one who could compete with Lucas for... I'm trying to think of a word that doesn't come off as homoerotic or pretentious.
Anywho, it comes down to Canon-Lucas. He is the better Lucas and is just more likeable, and human. Or small, fuzzy mammal, depending on your perspective.

i dont really like normal lucas. he comes off as being somewhat needy. its only magnified in nutrition. lucster is the opposite. instead of being needy, he's over the top opposite. a real loungue lizard type. I hate those types. the best one is stoned!lucas. he's more down to earth, if not alittle spacy. someone you could associate with easily. although seemingly too shallow for best friend material, i could easily see him fitting in to my group of friends. and no, I dont hang out with stoners. although they do get high sometimes.
gouki: whats homoerotic or pretentious about stoned!lucas? were you trying to say that he's the only other lucas that could compete for your preference?

Cannon means the original material so Cannon!Lucas means normal, regular Lucas (although aaarguably, the Lucster and Stoned!Lucas are cannon too because, well, they're in cannon - but I get what Gouki's saying) Things outside of that (like fanfics or shipping something like J/Z or M/L) are called fanon.

Well, yeah, it's all canon, but, I meant more of it in regard to maintimeline-Lucas. As oppossed to alter-Lucas or the Lucster. So Canon-Lucas sticks. i dont really like normal lucas. he comes off as being somewhat needy. its only magnified in nutrition. lucster is the opposite. instead of being needy, he's over the top opposite. a real loungue lizard type. Why am I suddenly thinking of Towelie? I don't think h's particuarly down to Earth. He's not really aware he's on Earth, you see. I was saying the Lucster was pretentious. Far to pretentious at that. And it was my choice of words that were being pretentious and homoerotic, not the character. Also, I think my preferences are a bit off topic. I was trying to say something like likability, only my mind wasn't going to let me choose something so simple at that moment, but of course. Something like 'favorite character.' the Lucster was living every picked-on kids' dream. ;D Don't be so sure. I sure as hell wouldn't have gone about it that way. And being bullied constantly for eleven years means I sort of have some kind of knowledge about this. there are plenty of more impressive ways to give people their commupances.

Gouki, it wouldnt be off topic to state your preference. This whole topic is about which type of Lucas you prefer.
Oh, and do silent revenge against bullies. Its more fun if they dont know who (if anyone) pranked them. Its more fun than face to face confrontation, and less of a chance for violence. Like most kids, I was picked on by a few kids. But since I have a penchant for never taking crap from anyone, I've always confronted them, direct or indirect. I prefer indirect, although direct is usually faster and well, more direct.

I think I may have taken the word 'preference' the wrong way... Is that why you were afraid of sounding homoerotic? Preference does have multiple connotations. But usually, I'm not afraid of saying things that may be taken the wrong way. I just say it, and if people are confused, I clarify.

When you push your assertiveness through the roof, you'll find that restraint out the window and you would actually do something like that, I believe. The Lucster is my least favorite.
