I haven't noticed it either, and i'm not Canadian. Maybe it's a subtle nuance that only Americans can pick up on... Or not. I watched Storm the other day and can't say I heard a lisp

You can actually see his tounge moving the wrong way to say the word....but then again did you guys ever think that because he is playing a GEEK he could be doing it ON PURPOSE?! I had to play a really geeky girl in a play once and I mademy character have a lisp.
Man, we really need that new season to come....we are now studying speech patterns......OY VEY!

I didn't see it either I guess I don't what people's mouths but their faces as a whole or something. And yes, we do need that new season! We ought to save analysing speech patters for when we run out of seasons...

I haven't noticed it either, and i'm not Canadian. Maybe it's a subtle nuance that only Americans can pick up on... Or not. What the Canadian accent? I find the whole accent charming. Same with the British one. I've always wondered why people cannot hear there accents? I mean, we Australians do not have an accent and people say we do. Same with practically everyother English speaking country. Strangely enough, I don't notice the accent as much with Noah. It's not as pronounced as with other cast members, especially Michael. I've only noticed it in a couple of episodes--and they were fairly random episodes as well--when I was listening stupidly hard. So, I may have imagined it. Not that it matters... But yes we do need a new season.

Aussies do so have an accent, and quite a strong one too! (Although that probably depends on where in Australia they're from). And Brits most certainly have accents, hundreds all packed into one smallish country. In Liverpool, for example, you can talk to somebody in the city centre and then go to just outside liverpool, travelling North, and the accent and dialects will be completely different! When people think 'English accent' they automatically think of the old 'BBC' accent 'Hillieux, ewld chap, heaw's the weather?' or Keira Knightley (posh londoney), Giles from Buffy (also posh, londoney) or really bad coc'ney accents. They never think of a Brummy accent, Yorkshire or Manchester, Geordie, Westcountry. There are tons and tons of English accents. And when you add Scottish and its varrians (like Glasweigian and Highlands etc.) and Welsh and its variants (southern, mid, northern etc.) there's a humongous ammount. There's no such thing as 'The British accent' My accent is Anglo-Welsh. But I'm horrifically off topic here.
Funny, his accent sounds stronger that the others' to me. He makes more of his 'oo' sounds (as in Lucas) and 'r's. But it's not quite as strong as Jeff's.

I've always wondered why people cannot hear there accents? i wondered that too I never really noticed i have a heavy Irish accent but everyone who meets me for the first time one of the first things they ask is 'Are you Irish' 'yes' 'I knew it' it really gets me I've only noticed it in a couple of episodes--and they were fairly random episodes as well--when I was listening stupidly hard. So, I may have imagined it. Not that it matters... But yes we do need a new season. We definitley need a new Season... and if by chance Noah does see this board... i'm taking a leaf from his book in Invisible... i Was NEVER here...you hear me... never

Tommy, next time say 'No, I'm a French penguin, actually.' (Well if people ask stupid questions they deserve stupid answers ) Noah won't be back... (I'm testing my awesome powers ) Nor will Mike or Emma. Shadia and Robert won't visit. Tony won't either. (Do you think it works with large groups of people?)

Aussies do so have an accent, and quite a strong one too! (Although that probably depends on where in Australia they're from). See, I don't think we do. Why is that? Why can't I pick up on it? Yes I know that there are the different types, but with a few exceptsion, I find the overall accents charming. I like most of the accents--when I think of British accents I think a middle of the road Giles-Spike sort of thing. It's hard to describe what I think of. I'm always warey of hearing cockney accents, because that's always what people try and imitate ("Shine your shoes, guv?"). And some people do down right awful imitations. Oh, and being British person, did Spike's accent sound as convincing to you as it did the rest of the world? It's more interesting than the topic at hand though. *hides from Poppenflip*

Hahahaha! Hahahahaha! Funny joke! Let's just say that he's more convincing than whatisface (I can't say any of his name thanks to the censor list ) in Mary Popins but less convincing than Sean Astin in Lord of the Rings (who's accent wandered up and down the country and sometimes over the pond ) It's a good job they got a British actor the play Giles (good old Tony ;D he's a dude)
