This thread title is bound to get attention. And, please, people, get your minds out of the gutter. This is not a slashy threads (or at least, it's not meant to be for now I'd like it to stay that way. At least until my question is answered).
Now, is their any information (logical specualtion will do for now if there is no canon statement ) on how they long they have been friends? Was it before Blake Holsey? Childhood friends? Things like that.

I dont remember anything saying that they knew each other before Blake Holsey. They went to science camp together in the summer from what we heard in "Lifetime". But that was said in their sophomore year of school (I think). So that would have been in the summer between freshman year and sophomore year. Meaning that they met already previously in their first year of Blake Holsey.

Oh sorry! In the USA we call the first year of high school freshman year, the second year sophomore year, the third year junior year, and the fourth year senior year. So I was saying that they were in their second year of high school when that statement was said.

Okay. Yeah, I remember that statement and all the science camp stuff, which is one of the reasons I was wondering hwo long they had known each other. That and their closeness.

Same here. Maybe Hail, MC, or Au might have some more insigt into this. *PiP waits for one of them to enlighten us*

Don't look at me, I have no idea! there's nothing that's been said to suggest they knew each other before Blake Holsey, but nothing that's been said that says they didn't. But I'm guessing wildly that they probably first met on their first day at BHH when they found out they would be sharing a room. I don't think they've known each other since early childhood or anything because Lucas had to introduce himself to Grant in Chemistry (along with Josie and Corrine) - syblings tend to know the names of the people you've been friends with since the year dot as they would have seen them regularly for years. But if Lucas and Marshall have known each other only since attending Blake Holsey, Grant could have missed any visits Lucas paid Marshall in the holidays or just seen Lucas sitting there in his living room but not care enough to go and get introduced (Grant really doesn't give off the vibe of the kind of brother who takes not of who his brother is friends with).

I think Lifetime was a freshman year episode, so they probably knew each other since middle school. Or my theory that Blake Holsey includes grade 8 is true. They probably knew each other and requested to room together.

*lol*...*watches the mad rush to ask Jim about this topic*...
I have mentioned this before and we still don't know for sure...too much doesn't add up...it seems Lucas and Marshall have been friends a long time and know each other very well...but then there's Grant which Corrine remarked 'you didn't say you have a brother' and Lucas didn't seem to know either...so as a wild guess I'd say maybe they were somewhere around 10 - 12 years old when they met...and Grant was already gone...just seems like they would have met about that age...*shrugs*

they're in your junior year in that series.... I think... yeah coz Corrine's been there for two years. [we discovered that in wormhole] so it must have been the summer before or the summer before before... do I make ANY sense?
