YAY! A NEW MOVIE! Called "Cube: Zero." It was just filmed and is a prequel to the movie "Cube" It is supposed to be a theatrical release but not sure when and where. hopefully in the US. He plays Owen. here is what it's about: “We once again find our unwilling participants frantically moving through a peculiar construct of cube-shaped rooms, each holding the potential threat of hideously inventive and painful death. However, finding the exit is only the beginning of an even worse nightmare. Even as we start to learn more about who and what is behind the Cube, we are left with even more questions as the cosmic mysteries of the Cube universe are revealed.” this oughta be good for him. another horror/scifi movie....as usual. There is a trailer for the movie at this site but i have to view it later to see if he's in it. www.uncubed.comthere is a tiny bio of him at the 'cast and crew' section of the movie site BUT the pic was from my site (my Dracula 2000 gallery....ONLY I have pics of him in D2K) and his birthplace is wrong. he was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, NOT Toronto. grr.. ooohhh....i'm so excited. ;D what do you guys think? will it bomb? will he be good in it? ect?

Lauren... official sites are nicking you pictures! OMG! You're... [glow=white,2,300] Famous![/glow] I've never heard of the Cube so I doubt I'll be seeing this in the cinema (not that I could handle it anyway, it sound scary...*hides*) The fact that he has a bio suggests he'll actually have a decent amount of screen-time

Someone from the site (that has connections with someone from the movie) told me that they'll get a pic of Tony from the movie soon. Since i'm the only one with pics of him it's ok if they use it. i mean, where else are they gonna get them? hehe. They put my site in their links section, too. ;D I didn't get to see the trailer..i heard music, i didn't see anything though. and i think it's an independent film. those have limited releases. (fewer theatres) the original Cube movie was on tv last week..IFC to be exact. if i don't get to see it in theatres, surely they'll have it on DVD.

Another message from one of the website owners:
"Hi again - It's true what you've read, Cube Zero is going direct to video only - at least in the U.S. (all the U.S. and not just NY and LA). As of now, none of us knows whether if it'll be a Spring 2004 or Fall 2004 release, only time will tell."
sweeet. hopefully i'll have a job by then and i can buy it. no theatrical release. but that's ok..then it would take longer for it to go to video. heeh.

I'm that guy having talked to Lauren, I'm not only connected to the Cube movies - I worked on the second one also (hopefully Lions Gate will find me useful for the third one also). The people from the movie that I have contact with are actually close friends of mine. The first Cube was an independent production, a school project actually, with an incredibly low budget. It was folllowed by Hypercube due to its success, still Hypercube wasn't given a much higher budget. The reason to why we use biographies of everyone from all the films (will be added soon) is because the Cube mytholgy is actually about people, rather than incidents... Very few of the actors having taken part in the films were day players - everyone got reasonable of on-screen time. In Cube, the only day player was on the screen by himself for three whole minutes (out of 120 minutes). Tony Munch is not one of the leads in Cube Zero, but I know he's there for a decent amount of time, so all you Tony Munch fans should be pleased. Well, questions have always been the main theme of the Cube movies. While Cube was more a question of "why, where and who?" Hypercube took it a step further and was so mind boggling that it was just a question of "how?". Any other questions? )

Kinda like a "Matrix" sorta thing. Tony rarely has a lot of screen time in anything. Except Spike of Love. I'm not surprised. but am excited about it. ;D I also wouldn't be surprised if he died in the movie.

I'm looking forward to Owen's (Tony) bio (w/a pic perhaps?) IF he gets a bio. As far as the movie, I will definately be pleased. It's sad that there are few fans. Hopefully there'll be more someday.

Maybe it's one of those 'cult' films that sort of gather momentum and in about 20 years will have built up quite a substatial fanbase... Thanks for the info, Uncubed But do you know if it will be released in the UK?

Lion's Gate? *turns a bit bitter* Lion's Gate were the people making Mysterious Ways. I don't not like them, it's just that I still don't like that Mysterious Ways never continued a thrid season, which is really PAX tv's fault.

Lion's Gate isn's that bad. I guess....hehe. But I do like Alliance Atlantis....which is going out of business i believe. (most of tony's works were made with them) anyway, i have a little thing to ask: tell us more about "Owen" (or should we wait for that bio on the site?) OOOH I'M SO EXCITED!

Got some news from the website:
"Anonymous writes "Lions Gate does not expect release until Summer 2004. Theatrical in Canada, DVD release in the US. Possible theatrical, not likely though."
Note: The release of Cube Zero has been a subject of many changes. The Cinefex says Spring 2004, but the sound design won't be until April/May. Other sources say that it will be released straight to video in October 2004. Therefore, you should take the above mentioned info with a grain of salt. "
awww....now we have to wait longer. darn.
