I know this is a little off topic but I gotta say.... It's my birthday in.... 12 days (Yay) But what I really want for my birthday is a certain CD. This CD however is American. Does anyone know if American CD's work in the UK. (DVD's don't because of the laser technology) but do CD's?

As far as I know, yes, American CDs do work on the UK. I bought some CDs from Spain a couple of months ago and they work just fine. Also, a lot of the DVDs lately are region-free, and even if they aren't, you can set your DVD to be able to read both NTCS and PAL.
Wow, a lot of birthdays in September.

Wow, a lot of birthdays in September. Thanks for the info. I shall now proceed to argue with amazon about how to pay for Turbulence. September babies are usually accidents. 9 months before September is Xmas.... and New years. Do the math. :-(

I can get it as a late present. :-D September babies are also often the smartest because they're the eldest in their school year. The extra year's experience helps them learn. :-D

Shivers, I'm gonna get ya, you know too much I was absolutely planned. Maybe too planned, which scares me. My brother, on the other side, was 'unplanned' but not really an 'accident'. Ginger, since my school starts in March, I'm, quite the contrary, one of the youngest.

I don't think age has a lot to do with it. Ok, so I don't do bad at school but there's a lot of girls older than me in my class and they're not really that brilliant as some of the younger girls. Hello? Witness protection? Hillary Duff's stalker is trying to get me!
