well i watch flight 29 down and its a really good show...to me that is you guys should try watching it. I beg your pardon? We should try watching it? Did you read the thread? We do watch it. That's why we are saying that the show is mediocre. Like most others here, I have watched since the first episode aired. That's about 7 episodes now. Honestly, the show doesn't suck. The acting just isn't that good. The plot is a bit thin but that'd be easy to get over if the acting was better. Maybe if there is a season 2, the actors will have had some lessons. What I don't like about the show is how they are constantly replaying scenes of what already happened as the transitions.

A dance? A DANCE?! Amazing how EVERY teenager show manages to work in a dance, no matter what the setting...
I think my main issue with the show, from the little I've seen, is that these kids just don't seem that upset. Do they ever mention their families? Or wanting to be back home? They just kinda seem like they're on vacation.

I was actually thinking that today, but I still like the show, lol.
If thatw as me, I would be freaking out!!
But it is a kids show, so....I wouldn't have gone in the first place, you wouldn't get me in a plane.

Wow, that's such a great trailer! I really do believe Jackson and Melissa are going to get closer as the season goes on. It also looks like the other 3 students come back for the dance.
Every episode just gets better and better. I'm really obsessed with this show now!

That's a great sig!
I love Jackson and Melissa together. It's just too cute for words. What was so cool from the last episode was that Jackson was so cool when he heard that tape of Melissa expressing her feelings for Jackson. Most guys would just be like "Oh...ew", but I think he really cares for her. That dance better be a sign of something good to come!

Reviving because HS brought it up when I mentioned the commercial I saw. 5 days necromancy perhaps, but I'll try watching an episode when I get the chance to justify this. FNM: Didnt you say earlier that the show was mediocre and you're not a fan? What changed? Dizzy: Most mature guys not in middle school wouldnt go "eww, girls!" I dont know anything about the characters except from what I've read on this thread. I'm guessing Jackson (I hate that name) is supposed to be the cool guy and Melissa is supposed to be the beauty (though not the snob). I think I just had a J/L shipper moment. I said to myself "Again?! Arent they bored of that storyline?", but the fact remains that beautiful people hook up. You could see it firsthand. By like the 3rd day, the best looking guy and the girl with the largest breasts on my floor were already having sex. Beautiful people are attracted to each other and waste no time, I guess.

Oh Johnny Pacer is very nice to look at. On IMDB, it says he is 24 and I'm shocked over that. He is playing a 16 year old. I really don't like how they get older actors to play younger roles. I guess he looks 16, which he doesn't, but he doesn't look 24 either.

I'm guessing Jackson (I hate that name) is supposed to be the cool guy and Melissa is supposed to be the beauty (though not the snob). Actually no. Jackson is quiet and more like a social outcast. He has some sort of past that keeps him from wanting to interact a lot with the group. Melissa is not supposed to be the super cute girl who every boy wants. That's Taylor. Melissa is somewhat practical but is haunted by not being able to "please all the people all the time." Oh Johnny Pacer is very nice to look at. On IMDB, it says he is 24 and I'm shocked over that. He is playing a 16 year old. I really don't like how they get older actors to play younger roles. I guess he looks 16, which he doesn't, but he doesn't look 24 either. Yeah, no matter how popular Jackson/Melissa gets, there's clearly not going to be any kiss scene for those two

Well, in Degrassi they had Cassie Steele begin to undress, and she's 13.
They wont hire the proper age actors because good looking people garnish more ratings. People want to see people who are more attractive than themselves, and that tends to be older and more developed people.

People want to see people who are more attractive than themselves, and that tends to be older and more developed people. That's very true. I watch Degrassi and found it rather ridiculous to have Cassie do that, but oh well...it's reality that quite a few girls that age do that. As for Jackson and Melissa kissing, it could happen. Age has nothing to do with it really. I don't know if you were referring to that or not.
