You spoke nothing of his assistants being from Gallifrey. And I started forming my post before you actually posted, so that counts as the same time. So there.

Ahh, but the Galifrean bit was irrelevant, I was only pointing out that they aren't all from Earth.
...Are there? I was unaware. Hands up everyone who doesn't like The Beatles.

Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to ignore them until they put up their hand.

*raises hand* Well, they're not the worst band ever. That title could go to any one of many bands around now. But i just find their music a bit, well, dull .

Ah, well, there we go. These people who don't like the Beatles consist of two people who won't put their hands up when asked, and Islander. My faith is restored.
What music are you into, then, other than what you've already mentioned?

Gideon: Remember the real world? No, not the tv show. What do you mean? Islander - if you don't like the Beatles, then try the Beach Boys and Billy Joel. (Normally, I'd recommend the Bee Gees, but I don't think you'd like their music.) I'm assuming, though, that as you think their music is dull, that you've only heard their earlier songs. Their later work (from about 1966 onwards) I don't think could be called dull. Some of it could be called very strange (particularly I am the Walrus) but I like their "strange" songs too. I think you'd like some of the Beach Boys' instrumental songs. Their 1966 Pet Sounds album wasn't too popular when it was first released, but now it's one of the "must-haves." Don't you think it's horrible that John Lennon was murderered, though? Chapman shot him five times (although I believe one of the bullets missed.) And he'd met John earlier that day, and John had signed his album for him!

I like The Beatles in very small doses but I don't know anyone in real life who doesn't like them.

The Beatles are horribly overrated. They don't produce bad music, it's just that they don't really produce good music either.

Couldn't agree more with what you said Gouki, they are indeed way overrated.
SD is very quiet tonight...or morning or whatever time it is where you are.

WHERE THE HECK IS THE STUPID SECURITY GUARD?! i bet he let them in there. GRAHHHHHH!! He was probably there playing with the people in the pool What I had in mind was leaving the both of them open. We could've moved into this one ourselves when LPE 8 was full, ... The conversation had already moved into this one. No need to have the same conversation in two threads at the same time. ... because we all have a good moral code. you don't say... I was board, so was about to post the html coding for this forum's home page, (just for a laff, as you do : , ... you were going to do what? ...I mean, I forgave her a long time ago and I don't have any bad feelings towards her, but it's still kind of weird. I guess I'm not sure I really want to get close to her again. Hard to explain, and I know I'm rambling. Just felt the need to share that with someone, and that is what you all are here for. When I graduated, I graduated so I would never have to see a lot of those people again. Some of them were the same people from elementary school. I got tired of being friends one year, enemies the next, and then friends again a year or two later. I'm glad somebody likes Mrs Doubtfire. When I ask people offline, they usually answer that they never watched it How do you not see Mrs Doubtfire? It's an under 10-year-old family staple film. I have new Internet memes. I want to use them on moronic newbies who excavate and can't spell. Where have they all gone? You want them to come back? 88: Long Islanders are just as rude, but we're snobbish too. Personally, I prefer the city and its snob-free and tact-free attitude. I think masking contempt with politeness is a southern thing. Guess that's why people in the long island area are known for giving the finger while people in the south are known for giving hospitality - even if they're giving you the finger behind your back .
