Thank god I dont own a live journal.
Gideon, shows, while entertaining, should not be an important part of your life. Your actual life should be an important part of your life, tv being an occasional amusing or relaxing distraction. Watching alot of TV is good for procrastinating work, but not as a life replacement. Of course, if you're Jim, this does not apply.
I can name months if I think about it. For example, most season premieres are September or January. But if I start watching in the middle of the season, or its an old show in syndication (do I even watch those?), I have no idea.

They're not all bad, Mac. Taxi is good. Danny De Vito and Christopher Lloyd do particularly well, in my opinion. The TV shows I like aren't important to the point where they take over my actual life, but they're important to me in a way I can't quite explain. I consider all forms of entertainment important.

It usually takes me more than one watch to get into a show, so I'll most likely not remember the first time I saw it. I do remember the first time I hear most of my favourite groups, since the only time I can buy their CDs is while being away on trip.

Update: Steve Irwin is, in fact, still dead. I am going to tape the special episode of 20/20 tonight on ABC at 10pm with Barbara Walters talking to Terri Irwin. I'd watch it if I didnt have work to do. Or liked Barbara Walters.
