Don't you think it strange that she acts all strong and like she doesn't need any help, but yet she always gets in trouble and needs someone to help her. That may not be in every case but its most of the time. Just a wonder

Yeah, it's sort of 'shades of grey' nothing's black and white in BHH, there is no bad no good no strong nor weak. Everyone had their strengths and weaknesses.

It's a defense mechanism, that she hasn't quite gotten over yet. It's first real appearance was in Magnet where she didn't want to get close to anyone or rely on anyone because she'd have to leave anyway. She fights her own battles, because they're hers she's pretty much always had to, anyway, which is one of the reasons for Inquiry's 'uh-oh' at the end.

I would agree with Gouki and say that it's at least partially a defense mechanism. I think it's both a combination of not wanting to be let down by others (in the way she feels her mother lets her down, betrayals real and imaginary) and also not wanting to let others down (in the way she probably feels she has let old friends down by moving away and not keeping in touch, and the worlhole related stuff). This has lead her to become infected with the heroism virus - she's eager to take responsibility, subconciously a way of proving to herself that she's strong and that she's worthy. If she's involved with something going wrong, she wants to be the one who's responsible so she can be the one who fixes it to appease her concience. And while it's probably down to the best intentions in her mind, it can actually do more harm than good (at least hurting others feelings, stopping them from feeing involved or being able to help, at worst, well, we all saw the end of inquiry). It's become somewhat of a monkey-trap for her - she holds on to it because it makes her feel strong even though she secretly knows it's a weakness and it's stopping her from growing. Hopefully this time, unlike in Magnet and Lost, she'll learn the lesson for good - she needs to understand that she needs the help of others sometimes and that other people need to help her. She also needs to learn to stop blaming herself for things she's not actually responsible for. But because she has this one fatal flaw doesn't mean that she isn't strong in other ways. She's still outspoken and headstrong and very intelligent. She still is determined (sometimes to the point of obstinance and belligerence) and the fact that she's willing to try to take such burdens says something significant about her morality and her inner strength. But she needs to learn to make the best of these when working with others. She needs to be less of a loner and more of a leader.
