Okay, I'd like to make something absolutely clear: It is okay to ship something. It is okay to not ship something. It is okay to actively criticise a ship or the ideas behind a ship. But it is NOT okay to make it personal. It is NOT okay to insult the people who ship a certain pairing. It is NOT okay to insult the people who do not ship a certain pairing.
If you want to support J/L do so, say things like "J/L are great, better than J/V, I think this because..." but do not say things like "J/V shippers are stupid." Also, if you don't ship J/L the don't ship it. You can say things like "I think J/L is a flawed ship because... " or "It won't ever happen in the show". But don't say "J/L shippers are moronic". Things tend to get ugly enough in ship discussions without people getting petty and resorting to personal remarks and insulting entire groups of people.
People also have different ideas about what makes a relationship good. You're allowed to say things like 'XY are meant to be' or similar, but don't expect everybody else to agree with you. Other people think that J/L certainly arent' meant to be, for a variety of reasons. And other people don't think that people 'deserve' for the person they fancy to return their feelings just because they wield the awesome levels of pester power and jealousy.

J/L shippers, could you explain me, please, why Josie and Lucas should get together? I don't understand why you think that J/L is better than J/V.

J/L shippers, could you explain me, please, why Josie and Lucas should get together? I don't understand why you think that J/L is better than J/V. I'm guessing that most are probably Lucas-like people who havent had boyfriends or girlfriends of their own. They want the dorky guy to win the girl over the jock, because they feel that if it is validated on national tv, then maybe it could happen to them. Also, some may pity Lucas because he's the underdog, or they may not want Vaughn to get the girl because they feel it is too common and stereotypical for the big jock hero to get the girl. But generally speaking, they arent using what the show tells them about Josie's preferences or attractions.

I was one before I realized, Josie doesn't like Lucas that way. Lucas is the best friend who she goes to when Vaughn does something stupid. That's all.

I agree with you MC, Lucas is just the bestfriend Josie goes to when Vaughn does something stupid. But I still support the J/L relationship. Besides, dreaming doesn't hurt, right?

I wish Jose was my girlfriend. But since emma taylor isherwood is older and in cananda, for the show I am going to say I'm hoping it's Jose and Lucus.

OK does anyone remember the ep where Lucas and Vaughn switch places? At the end of the ep Corrine asks Josie who she was kissing and she said "I think both" so there is a possibility that she likes him but maybe likes Vaughn more..........dont know why exactly but she does.......sorry i'm kind of in support to J/L but then again im not becuz I like Lucas........lol i know im a geek...........and a nerd......

I am a Josie/Lucas fan and I dont think that its not true. Are Josie and Vaugh really a couple anymore? She's not really going out with either of them, but I think she likes both for seperate reasons.
Vaugh is her crush and they are connected in a way that she is connected with nobody else. However, half the time she can't trust him and relationships are based on trust.
Lucas likes Josie and that's obvious. He's always there for her and is always looking out for her. She sees him as a really good friend who is there to help her when she needs someone most. He really cares about her and she trusts him to help her out. To me, it sounds like they would make a better couple.
There's really no answer for this ship so anyone's guess could be right.

I have not seen Conclusions yet.
Jim has stated he's a fan of Josie and Lucas, but he's a fan of tragic relationships. It implies Josie was never meant to get with Lucas. Certainly, he has pushed them farther apart than together in season 3. In addition, season 3 seemed to cement the relationship of Josie and Vaughn, despite inklings of Vaughn and Corrine in Friction.
