No, this isn't a new shipper.
I was just thinking, Z and Corrine are the furthest apart in the science club. He never says anything to comfort her, yet always helps Josie out, and even in ecosystems, I know he was right when he said Josie was innocent, but try to see Corrines point of view.
Also, in hemispheres, Poet!Z, cared about Corrine like she was his own daughter. If every thing was opposite...(I can now imagine Hailstorm beginning her anti c/m talk)

lol, I was ready to yell at you for shipping. But yeah, they are the most distant for some reason.... Hmm, I know someone here has a theory why... and its not me.

Some people here say that Corrine is a spy from Peardyne. I highly doubt that.

She hasn't got many close friends except for Marshall really.... She's not exactly the easiest person to identify with. Come on Mac, share the theory

Some people here say that Corrine is a spy from Peardyne. I highly doubt that. Nobody said Pearadyne. And nobody said spy. You know... too much... Actually, nobody has actually said "Corrine IS a SPY from PEARADYNE" just "Corrine's LOYALTY may not be UNSHAKABLE. This may cause her to move away from the science club." I hadn't really considered this in detail before (I skimmed over it breifly while considering a page on my site looking at Z's relationships with the other characters but my brain concentrated mostly on Josie, because of their mentory thing, and Durst due to their boss-underling thing) But yes, I guess Corrine is the furthest from Z. Perhaps it's because she's so smart and independant, it doesn't seem like she needs the kind of support he offers to Josie, even though she might. Not that she woudl readily admit it - it's a dangerous thing, pride. Being confident in your own (ample) abilities is one thing but never asking for help or accepting any can be a very foolish thing in even the most intelligent of people. Where's Kaytee? I know she'll have something to add to this.

I have often thought about this, its part of my theory that I am not disclosing as of yet. I gotta see teh whole of seaon 3 first. But you notice in Equation they did have a little talk that my theory touches on. Kaytee

I say Victor kidnaps her, then replaces her brain with a new electronic one, and she becomes a Terminator and is sent to the past, but goes back too far and decides to try to lead a normal life anyway, but in fact ends up becoming her own mother, so when Corrine is her own daughter, she already has the electronic brain, so Victor doesn't fit it into her in the future, so she never goes back, and never becomes her own mother, and never exists.
Maybe.

I wouldn't say Corrine is a 'spy' per se, but I would say she does have a unique existence at BHH

(I can now imagine Hailstorm beginning her anti c/m talk) ah, HailStorm, the young ones are learning fast *hehehe* . He never says anything to comfort her, yet always helps Josie out, ... Also, in hemispheres, Poet!Z, cared about Corrine like she was his own daughter. That's interesting. Good observation. I wonder if the attention Z gives Josie was actively noticed and this example of Poet!Z caring more for Corrine was put in to mirror it or the mirror-example happened by accident. bahhh! another Hemispheres question *faints* Perhaps it's because she's so smart and independant, it doesn't seem like she needs the kind of support he offers to Josie, even though she might. I've no doubt she'd be the "second in command" when it comes to the lesson plan of the Science Club if Z is absent *nods*

Corrine probably thinks she ought to be second in demand but somehow, people just naturally seem to follow Josie more easily. Maybe it's the hair? Seriously, Josie does seem find it easier to make people do what she says and the Science Club seem to gravitate around her, whether they like it or not. You notice none of the boys seem that interested in seizing tEh PoWaaaRRR? Probably a good job too. Lucas would lead them on a wild goose chase, Vaughn would lead them nowhere and Marshall would lead them to the caffeteria, where he would lunch and then maybe play some foosball

Corrine is confident in her own abilities and has always succeded at pretty much everything. Not to mention she has the family support that Josie lacks. There are instances of Z helping her, though. I think he was trying to help her in Ecosystems by trying to get her to see the other side of the story. We also see him and her in Equation and Hemispheres, and probably other times that I can't remember rightn now.
BTW- Like your new banner, HS! Lucas kinda looks like the guy from Rent. LOL!!! That would make a hilarious fic.

yeah i agree! i think that she is more distant emotionally as she doesnt need the advice that josie does s she thinks she can always handle it on her own!!
