Marvellous work! As usual you make the character come to life, even though you write such short ficlets, and th dialogue sparkles without overflowing the characters with popculture or general... rapid-fireness like others. *cough*
Yay for Marshall/Lucas as well, it has been a while. Good use of continuity, as well.
Just... one small question, that will probably make me look really stupid, is it just the Solar System boxers that he thinks of as Lucas' bigboy pants, because they're not really what a seventeen/eighteen year old would wear and sort of childish? Or is it all of Lucas' boxers, and if so, why?

Thankyou! I just meant any of Lucas's boxers in general (implying that this probably isn't the first time Marshall's had Lucas down to his boxers ) trigger the memory but the reason that it's suddenly become funny enough for Marshall to laugh is because Lucas is wearing an extremely silly and rather un-grown up pair. They probably look similar to his original 'big boy' pants (you know, how your first 'grown up' knife and fork is small and very blunt, it's not really grown up but you feel like it is because it's similar to mummy's and daddy's). I was going to go for something more pop-culturey (the idea of Lucas wearing Batman underwear seems oddly amusing to me) but then also remembered Marshall's dig about space-jammies in... was it camouflage? Anyway, the space thing seemed to fit.

Coolies, thanks for explaining that. I thought it might be the reason. Makes more sense when I read it now, and I can enjoy the comical interplay rather than wondering "does she mean this, or that?".
I have awesome Comic!Spidey boxers. It's covered in all these pictures of Spider-Man comics covers. It's sort of strange to think all my friends where, like, Playboy boxers, or just plain tartan boxers or not boxers at all. And here I am: Spider-Man.

rofl XD That's awesome! I'm getting to a point where I'm beggining to think that there's no excuse for boring underwear. My bestest pair of pants have a little scull print - I call them my 'so darn emo' pants. Not quite spiderman but still. I do have some wonderwoman pyjamas. And I really want a pair of boypants with big rubber duckies all over them. All of the above are from Topshop - they do a great service to the world of pants
