I keep seeing all these posts about how sexy and hot he is... am I the only one who doesn't see it? He looks WAY too old to be in high school, even older than Marshall's brother. Tyler flat-out gives me the creeps

Actually, most people don't like him, it's just the enthusiasm of those who do... (and Kris, who talks to Christopher Tai on MSN and so doesn't have difficulty in seperating him from his character because, in real life, he's a dude! (I joined in a conversation once)) He's supposed to be a bit creepy on acount of being a manipulative git. And the way he manipulates is to use his presence. He glides around the place like some sort of snake. And some of us are a bit powerless to resist the sort of guy who could be a genuine member of the Assasin's Guild (Discworld, anybody? No?). Plus, no matter how much of an awful person his character is, you must admit that the juxtaposition of his features are pleasing to the eye...

(I joined in a conversation once)) I'm sure he's quite nice in real life. I did mean the character. I've been seriously wanting to write a story where Tyler is the villian and he is just flat-out evil. The idea posted a long time ago about him morphing into anyone is fabulous; is this actually going to be in an episode? I do not have to admit that, and I won't. Sorry, but he just doesn't do it for me, although I can see how he could for someone else. He's a good-looking guy, but just not my type, I guess.

Well, unlike Victor, I wouldn't be surprised if he was flat out evil... Well, not evil, as such (I really don't think that there are many truly evil people in the world. It's not like the old days ) but he has no good justification for his behaviour other than he acts that way for his own satisfaction (whereas I beleive that Victor does have his reasons and is capable of unselfish thought and human emotion and the like) he is a flat out rotten, bad and selfish person. Great potential as a pantomime villain (ie. his only redeeming features are 'style' 'good eyebrows' 'persistance' and 'has one impressive evil laugh') Any fanfic that portrayed him as being a sensitive human being would have to be so well written that it's beyond my comprehension - otherwise it would seem like a very cheesy OOC fic... So YAY for villain!Tyler in all his conniving glory! As far as we know, yes

Possible sociopath? Agreed. I would really like to see Vic show his "human" side more this season. Maybe some gushy interaction between him and Vaughn, or something involving Sarah.(88Keys gets funny mental picture of Tyler in a cape, twirling a black handle-bar mustache and going "Heh-heh-HEH!" )Squeee!!!! I am so psyched about this upcoming season...kind of wishing I hadn't scheduled the wedding the same day it starts, but I am having trouble convincing my fiance to reschedule.

Tyler flat-out gives me the creeps Hailstorm explained it well. He's charming, charismatic, and manipulative. Agreed. I would really like to see Vic show his "human" side more this season. Maybe some gushy interaction between him and Vaughn, or something involving Sarah. I think we might be seeing that since we'll learn more about what happened to Sarah. (88Keys gets funny mental picture of Tyler in a cape, twirling a black handle-bar mustache and going "Heh-heh-HEH!" ) If there was another "Hemispheres" episode or even one based on dreams/nightmares, I can so see this. Squeee!!!! I am so psyched about this upcoming season...kind of wishing I hadn't scheduled the wedding the same day it starts, but I am having trouble convincing my fiance to reschedule. Congrats, again! ;D There's always the VCR and reruns on Discovery Kids.

It wouldn't surprise me. I hope so. I'm deffinitely big on the 'Soulmates torn apart by a cruel twist of fate' and the 'being cruel to be kind' (I think that one of the main reasons Victor treats Vaughn so harshly at times is because he wants him to succeed, to meet his potential - it may not be a good way to go about it but even the greatest brains can be guilty of flawed logic when it comes to emotional matters) LoL! Maybe I'll draw that some time... I like the nightmares scenario. Somebody's dream sequence (Corrine's perhaps?) could have Tyler be the big baddie and Marshall being the hero, with the dreamer being kidnapped and tied to traintracks... Like Danceallnight said, you can tape BHH. A wedding is kind of something you have to be there for (And I hope you have a great day, when it comes! ;D (Oh! I got all squeeful and excited for you then! *huggles*))

You mean the Tyler & Madison scenario? That was mine...a synop to what would possibly happen in the episode Tyler is supposed to actually morph... We don't know the name of the episode as of yet nor do we know who or what Tyler morphs into...
And I guess I'm alone in my belief of Tyler...I see the possibilities in him whereas others do not...guess Inquiry might possibly finally reveal Tyler's true nature... And yes I admit it...I do actually like the character Tyler...
And congrats on your wedding... and don't worry Transference will most likely repeat in either Nov or Dec...

I'm not Tylers biggest fan i have to say... No offence meant to Christopher Tai but anyone who gets Marshall into trouble is on my enemy list

I think most of the show's redeeming powers will be spent on the Pearson family (redeeming them to viewers and to the other characters) I think Tyler's gittish character serves an important purpose. There are some people out there who are rotten and they will not change because they don't want to. They're selfish, mean, cruel and petty and you have to learn to not let them get to you. I think he's there to highlight parts of Marshall that are good and some other parts that are bad. And he's also a good foil for him [marshall]
