Has anyone else noticed Madison hasn't been in any Season 3 episodes so far (Transference - Nanotechnology)?
Wonder what happened to Madison?
Anyone miss Madison?

Madison was fairly underwhelming in her appearances, but if they could do something interesting with the character (like Tyler) then I'd galdly welcome her back.

BTW- Welcome back.

Vaughn would. Apparently there was something going on between them. oh yeah he really looks like he's in the depths of despair over her absence Transference - Nanotechnology...*rolls eyes and laughs*...
Marshall to Vaughn: Where's Madison, haven't seen her around lately... Vaughn: Who? Marshall: The cheerleader you used to hang with... Vaughn: Who? Marshall: Long dark hair, nice shape, kind of controlling... Vaughn: Who? Marshall: Oh nevermind...hey Vaughn ever thought of trying out for our mascot?[glow=ff8cbd,9,900] ;D ;D[/glow]

Secretly he's dying inside, you know it! Hey, what's that strange cloud on the horison? Hmm... it's getting bigger... Are those flaming torches and pitchforks? Whooops! Joking! I was kidding, I swear!
I miss Madison, she was funny and annoying in a good way (there is such a thing.) But there hasn't really been much room for her and when it comes down to it, the main story is more important than comic releif and that can be provided by the main cast and Stew anyway. Plus I guess Talia's been busy doing her own thing (Mama Mia, wasn't it?)

apparently the idea that things can occur outside of the show hasn't dawned on Au. One thing a great show tends to do (The first Survivor did it successfully) was to get the point that it isn't the show that is new, it is you who has come in late. Basically, that the show's characters have a continium outside of what is presented to us and has been going on before the first episode.
Yes, I would like to see Madison's character more in the show. We had a nice guest staring cast to give us the impression that Blake Holsey was not only 5 kids in season 2. Usually, when a show is bothing to give us a guest star of some prominence, something is going to happen to them (like in Star Trek, it usually meant the character was going to get killed).

Yes, I appreciated that too. They didn't need Madison after Pheremones, really, but she kept popping up like a very funny bad penny It's the same with Stew, he hasn't really been involved in the action since Genome, but he's still there, being funny and being friends with Vaughn. It makes the show feel a bit more real - when I was in school, we had our insular little groups but we had friends outside the group and from other groups too, like Vaugn and his Jock friends, Marshall and his jamming buddies. I think I may have seen Madison pass for a split second past a doorway in Camouflage, but it literally is a split second and so, as you can't see her clearly, it could just be somebody who looked a bit like her.

and some seem to forget that Season 2 and Season 3 was shot as a single season...if she(Talia) was available for part of it she should have been available for all and it was in 2003 no time period elapsed for other commitments to be much of a problem as they would be now...
it seems to be a writer and storyline issue rather than an actor issue...the writers seem to have decided that Josie no longer needed a rival...anyone else notice at all that in Season 3 Tranference - Nanotechnology Josie does not have a rival...(Diana Music was Corrine's rival for the Allure episode...Josie didn't really seem bothered by Diana...Josie didn't care since "the guys were just making fools of themselves")...and Vaughn seems to spend his free time mostly with Stew in Season 3 (don't even think it...that's not what I mean...and we're not going there)...Season 3 seems to focus more on the Josie-Vaughn-Lucas triangle than Josie having a rival for Vaughn's affection...almost like we're supposed to know there's something between Josie and Vaughn even though it's unspoken...so in the process Madison loses out and is more or less cast aside...
and Stew has become a guest regular...he's in almost every episode of Season 3 and has become the comic foible for the other characters...almost every time he's in a scene he does or says something funny...so guess the writers thought Stew has more appeal and presence than Madison...so bye-bye Madison...

I'm talking about events that take place off camera. Not everything the students go through is something that we see. When the seasons were produced doesn't matter. ...so guess the writers thought Stew has more appeal and presence than Madison... Stew is an easier character to connect with. We would probably need another episode devoted to Madison to get closer to her and what's going on in her world. With Stew, we get closer to him whenever Stew is shown.
