Exactly, he wants Corrine to stay - but it's such a terrible thing to do. Eyeliner!Marshall must be incredibly selfish - didn't he see how upset Corrine was the first time she broke the mirror. Grrr conniving people make HailStorm.... reach for her [imaginary]sword (OT: Molly Philips? From So Weird? *pines* I miss that show so much! Indeed, Molly rocks *nods*)

If we look at it from the opposites POV, it makes sense. Marshall cares about Corrine but doesn't (IMHO) fancy her all that much whereas eyeliner!Marshall fancies her, but doesn't really deeply care about her or her well bing - he is selfish. Her staying would make him happy, so he doesn't care if she has to suffer - in fact, that may be a bonus as she'd be weak and vunerable and would, perhaps, turn to him in her hour of desperate need etc. Wow. Eyeliner!Marshall is a manipulative little git, no? So not like normal Marshall.

Since it's there oppisites really then the eyeliner!Marshall likes Corrine so that means that Marshall doesn't like Corrine then??

Well, it's not deffinite, but it's a theory that I'm clinging onto for dear life It's just what I think likely. I didn't spot much J/Vness on the other side of the mirror, but it's usually almost as rampant as plot bunnies at 3am. I also noticed that ballet!Josie and eyeliner!Marshall seemed to spend a lot of time together whereas they don't really in the normal universe (not that I think they were going out or anything, I didn't pick up any of those sort of vibes between them) And Lucas dind't seem to fancy Josie (as he does 'back home'). So, that's what I think: One Marshall likes her one way (as a really good friend, somebody to trust, somebody who can trust him) and the other likes her another ("oh look! pretty girl. my pretty girl. Nyarg").

i kind of agree with the difference in the different members of the cast, like J/M how they are around each other alot, and Vaughn not really noticing josie, and lucas not really liking Josie either (Lucas looked really out of it like he was on drugs or something, looked sweet... plus i liked the lolly)

Chez moi, we call him stoned!Lucas - but I don't actually think any artifichial substances were used, I just think he's naturally a bit spacey

Sorry, I'm dragging this back onto the mirror shove thing. I watched it again and noted how once the mirror starts to fall, people run and try to grab it, but Marshall distinctly moves OUT of the way of the falling mirror, almost like he doesn't care if it falls or not. P.S. I'm posting a possible editing mistake in this scene on the "Mistakes" thread. Check it out. ;D

*nods to HS*
If Magnet 360ยบ needed a 'female' singer, why didn't Marshall just dress Lucas in drag?
Marshall knows Lucas can sing, he learned that in 'Ecosystems', so why not use Lucas' talents!! And this would give HS a little thrill!! ;D ;D ;D

Hey, you're making me sound... well dodgy >< Actually, good point. But I thik you'll remeber that in Lifetime Lucas recalled the time Marshall dressed as a girl (and won the camp beauty contest) and in Invisible Corrine's favourite 'Marshall moment' was him dressing up as Durst on hallowe'en. So why get Lucas to dress up when he could do it himself? (or is this an 'any excuse ) kinda thing? XD)

It's one of my favorite episodes. Even though it had nothing to do with the main aspect of the show, we had to slide off and get some entertainment for a bit! I like the whole artsy field to the episode. Gave the actors a bit of a change.
I think I was drooling for at least 10 minutes with I saw the alter Marshall. If only he was really like that! Even though this thread was dated back 2 years ago, someone said that the alter Marshall likes Corrine, but not the real Marshall. Well...looks like Marshall always had a thing for her, but I think the real Marshall was too afraid to admit it and the alter Marshall wasn't.
