well, days and counting...
Past March 19/20
excellent JSM for Past. I quite believe the enemy is becoming clearer. and possibly why the enemy did what they did. can't wait to see Past. the episode does seem to explain quite a bit and clear up some mysteries. each to experience their own and perception of value.

All I have to say is
[glow=red,2,300]WOW!!!![/glow]
The time-travel, the mysterious Mr. Avaneir, the horses, the storm, the constable. Everything was so cool.
I hadn't read the spoiler before this episode but from the second they took that photograph I knew the science club would find it.
One problem: Did they have frosted glass windows in the 1800's? (The science room had one).
Next week's teaser was advertised as the SEASON finale. NOT series finale, so who knows?
And I'm not sure if this has been noted before, but there's a new company logo in the bottom right hand corner of the screen on NBC.. the logo is just a lowercase " ei ". Is that a new production company, perhaps?

I meant the "who knows" statement as a sort of "Who knows? Maybe they did find a production company and just haven't said anything yet" sort of thing. Since they're advertising the next episode as season finale instead of series finale.

I liked this ep, but I wish I hadn't read the spoilers first. I think I would've been rocked by it, instead of just pleased with it. Or maybe it's just because I'm sick today, I don't know. It definately needs a re-watch.
Blake Holsey- unattractive but very charming. ;D Vaughn's costume looked great. No matter what side of the mirror or time period they travel to, he is always well-dressed. Marshall looked goofy in that weird plaid. Lucas standing with his hand inside his jacket like Napolean was funny.
I was confused after reading the spoilers why Vaughn was taken to 1977 instead of going on ahead. But after watching the episode, I think I understand. The wormhole closed before he made it all the way, right? And the janitor is trying to keep him from interfering in, well, whatever (I think I know what, though).
Josie and Mr. Avenear both have red hair...
And I'm not sure if this has been noted before, but there's a new company logo in the bottom right hand corner of the screen on NBC.. the logo is just a lowercase " ei ". Is that a new production company, perhaps?
We have discuessed that before. It has to do with indicating that it is educational programming. It is on lots of shows, not just BHH. And it's not a production company logo. I did notice the same thing, that they are saying "season finale" instead of series, which I will take as a good sign.fixed code - MirrorCard

lol, A+ episode. Aveneir is definately a memorable character.
fascinating about Vaughn. obvously, what the Janitor is reffering to is the creation of the floating ball.
I really think its likely that Victor does not know where his device is going to open up a wormhole to, and has been studying it. I really dont think he's in control as we think. Maybe its controlled by the Tesseract device. It was hidden in Z's office, right?
oh, and about Vaughn again, it seems that the janitor brought him there on purpose. josie2 believes that nothing good will come from hiding vaughn, especially in that time, and potentially having josie interfere with herself making the floating ball.

I thought Josie2 was saying nothing good would come of Josie going to find Vaughn. But you have a point, and it is the same thing I wondered when I first read the spoilers. If Vaughn isn't supposed to interfere, then why bring him to 1977 in the first place?Reminds me of "Back to the Future part 2."
Some things I forgot to say earlier. Josie and Vaughn's bickering was cute. Kind of like a (gasp) real couple. Almost reminds me of my husband and me.
I did think it was kind of pointless to have Valerie play "Headmistress Durst," or to even call her Durst. Like someone else said, it's not like there is a genetic line of Dursts that all become principal of Blake Holesy High. I think having someone who is strict like Durst but didn't look like her play the part would've been better. You could see the obvious similarities between Headmistress Durst and Mr. Avinear and Principal Durst and Victor.

seems this is the third time we've had a double version of a character. first in wormhole2, then in tesseract. however, this is new. first vaughn went back in time, then at a later date went back in time to the same time when he already went back in time. so its almost like a triple.

I liked it, especially after waiting so long for a new episode. Josie seems to have some effect on all the people she meets. I love the costumes and the sets for the different time periods, including 1977. So the uniforms Josie and Blake were wearing back then--what a hassle! Although pretty, I would despise wearing it everyday. I agree about Blake's charm.
Interesting how Avenir had such specific instructions on the construction of the prep school. I wonder if Victor knows about these plans.
One more episode ... le sigh.

Past was an excellent episode. Enjoyed it immensely.
again the strange camera angles. made it interesting though.
Avevir's first name appears to be Jack.
the photographer's name was Eastman, a nod no less to Eastman Kodak.
Josie enchants every guy she comes in contact with.
someone else in Durst's position would indeed have been better. and she couldn't be a direct relation of Durst because back then the female heads of scholastic institutions never usually married. that Durst would not have been Durst grandmother nor great grandmother in any capacity.
and the Janitor, he was in 1977 supposed to be watching Vaughn, yet he's in present day talking to Josie2, without much time difference. could it be possible there's more than one Janitor?
Josie's hoopskirt was funny, so were the other clothes.
not sure if Avenir is bad or good, he said "well done Josie", that's an open ended statement.
Really liked Past. it's an episode that could have been longer or a two parter though. would have liked to seen more. especially about the palladium enhanced floor.

Well, since all I do is bag on how suspicious Corrine is I will continue... I thought it was sort of sneaky of her to go into how the School was later named after Blake Holsey instead of being concerned over Vaughn being stuck somewhere in time... SUSPICIOUS!!!
She always tries to divert the attention... sneaky!

judging from the JSM, the one you posted, Aveneir is most likely bad. which means victor isnt. victor is probably neutral and really not at all behind whats going on. really, he's probably an innocent bystander, simply trying to get his wife back, his research and machine really the product of sarah's insideous involvement. in the beginning, when victor starts up the machine again, is that grant with him?

I've seen that EI logo before. it's on other channels, too. i think in the mornings only. it was on CBS on saturday morning, when i watching Lazy Town..so NBC isn't the only doing that. i'm not sure what it is. i'll investigate.
i gotta remember to wake up for this. i CAN'T miss it. or i'll have to wait until monday night.
