That's a good question... It seems most likely to me that he'll be shoved to the backburner as the "voice of common sense." I do hope he plays some larger role in the mystery though...

That's a good question... It seems most likely to me that he'll be shoved to the backburner as the "voice of common sense." I do hope he plays some larger role in the mystery though... In season 3, he became obsessed with the scientific method and rational explanations, especially in Past and Inquiry, to solve things. He didn't stress that in the other two seasons. It made him seem less like the unorthodox professor of season 1.

If you think about it, look how many problems have been caused by people just rushing in. He has a point when he says "no. Gather facts first."

He'll be a teacher, Josie's crying shoulder, and his mysterious ties to Pearadyne will be revealed.

He's guessing with his usual faux-superiority. They are pretty spot on though.

I noticed that in the promo...after the "1 stranger, 1 madman, 5 students, and 1 janitor," I wanted to yell "and 1 science teacher!!!" I agree that he will probably be the one who makes them slow down and think things through. He will definately be involved, as we see him during the shot of Josie saying "let's finish this," and also in a shot with Durst. She says something like "do I want to know what's going on?" and he tells her "No."
Wonder how Durst will fit into everything. I hope she finally stands up to Victor.

Professor Z has always been like a mentor to the Science Club. He's feels responsible for them, and therefore tries to make sure they're safe to the best of his ability. I think that although he has become more serious, he will continue to pursue his Dumbledore/Obi-Wan ish role in the Science Club's actions.

He's guessing with his usual faux-superiority. They are pretty spot on though. Ah, you know me so well. ;D There's no reason to think that Z will be any different personality wise than he was before. He's always been Josie's support, and she'll probably need alot in Conclusions. Z's reaction to the ball was a video clue (I think). They're all logical assumptions.
