It occurred to me that in the episode "Hemispheres", everyone on the other side of the mirror is the opposite of their normal selves. as in,
Regular Vaughn: Jock Mirror Vaughn: Nerdy Bookworm. the point is, everyone is exactly the opposite of their normal selves. But in the mirror world, Victor is EVIL (Z and D say so) ,,, so does that mean that in the regular world, Victor is.....*gasp* GOOD?!?!
just a thought.

No, Victor is not black and white enough to be plain good or evil in either world. Z and Durst were also very dramatic, don't forget.

I think Victor is a good guy. He's just hiding something.

I think Victor is a good guy. He's just hiding something. I think the same.I think the bad guy,is soon to come.As you see in my recent posts in another forum, that Avenier is a bit shady.Yes,Victor strikes me as mysterious, and sometimes not understandable, but a good guy,in some way.

I agree with eninqueenubet 100%.... the Janitor and Josie2 both seem to think he is good..... A little off the topic, but, why do you think Victor doesn't get really mad when Vaughn is looking at his Pearadyne2 plans on the computer? Victor apparently trusts Vaughn with Pearadyne information, which means he can't be all bad. He might just be sad about Sarah.

Victor never struck me as truely bad. I think he can be selfish, and he has his own agenda, but that doesnt make him evil. He's never showed signs of trying to conquor the world or kill the Science Club. He loves his son, misses his wife, distrust his son's girlfriend but respects his decisions, and strives to get his missing wife back. That's hardly evil.

the point is, everyone is exactly the opposite of their normal selves. But in the mirror world, Victor is EVIL (Z and D say so) ,,, so does that mean that in the regular world, Victor is.....*gasp* GOOD?!?! Hemispheres didn't really reverse the world is a flipping of good vs bad sort of thing. It was more of the mirroring of personalities. Victor is the normal world is self-restrictive, quite formal, composed, etc. Victor in the mirror-world is surprisingly casual (look at the way he moved in comparison to the normal universe Victor), sarcastic, you could even say sloppy (observe the way he was dressed) and a bit chaotic like he is having difficulty keeping all of his ideas from getting away from him. Another thing to consider is that the Science Club are protagonists. Anyone who acts against them we view as bad guys, even if the Science Club are indeed the bad guys. Certain episodes feature excellent supports of this. In Radio, it is the Science Club's actions which caused the school to disappear. Victor didn't do anything. He wasn't plotting evil, the Science Club just stuck their noses where they didn't belong. Principal Durst is a good character for this analysis too. We side her with the "bad guys" because she sticks to Victor but there are countless episodes, like Lifetime and Robot, where she is a protagonist character. But because we have labelled her as an antagonist, we cast a darker light on her even if she isn't up to dark designs. So, think about the show if it was written featuring Victor. We have a character who is trying to rebuild the family business and recover from the loss of his wife. At the same time, there is a Science Club that always seems to be holding him back and messing with goals. Victor tries to keep them in control, so they don't hurt themselves, but they insist on taking drastic actions which ultimately harm the school and the timeline. Also, they are confusing his son and causing family stress.

MC is right, I feel bad for Victor. Thinking through the eyes of Victor, his son's friends have caused him countless trouble despite the fact that he's never done anything to harm them. But he cant be too harsh against them because they're his son's friends and they're not malicious. Though if I were in Victor's shoes, I would sit the kids down and talk to them. Tell them some things (not all), and let them understand that he's not up to no good and he'd like to fix whatever's wrong. Make it a two way conversation. Find out what the science club experienced, and tell the club what's going on. But Victor is a quiet, isolated, and cold man. Its not his style. Still, I think it would be in his best interests. He came close in the end of Inquiry.

That is so true, but at the same time, Josie is the one that brought Victor the floating ball in the first place... perhaps Victor fears that if Josie knew too much she would stop the Wormhole from ever being created..... and I guess she does in Inquiry....
