This short dialogue is the only thing I remember from a dream a had a few nights ago:
"I've came up with a new way of throwing paper at cats." "Is it throwing the cats at the paper?"
I'm determined that it means something.

There is no argument that cannot be won by a combination of quantum theory and concrete. - Me

Some stuff Jonathan Swift said (Jonathan Swift's just fantastic, isn't he?):
When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign: that the dunces are all in confederacy against him.
Men who possess all the advantages of life, are in a state where there are many accidents to disorder and discompose, but few to please them.
It is grown a word of course for writers to say, “This critical age,” as divines say, “This sinful age.”
If a man would register all his opinions upon love, politics, religion, learning, etc., beginning from his youth and so go on to old age, what a bundle of inconsistencies and contradictions would appear at last!
The reason why so few marriages are happy, is, because young ladies spend their time in making nets, not in making cages.
No wise man ever wished to be younger.
Small causes are sufficient to make a man uneasy when great ones are not in the way. For want of a block he will stumble at a straw.
Very few men, properly speaking, live at present, but are providing to live another time.

Interview with Paul McCartney and some guys out og the Kaiser Cheifs in NME:
NME: Have you go any advice for new bands?
...
Macca: You have not chase it too. If you chase something it tends to recede, but if you enjoy doing something for the sake of doing it it's more sucessful.
Ricky: Like catching a pigeon
Macca: Exactly like that. ...

Chris Yates, I think:
"If we have imagination, and we have patience, then we have everything."
Stephen Crane:
A man said to the universe: "Sir, I exist!" "However," replied the universe, "The fact has not created in me A sense of obligation."

Moira Stuart on episode 1, The Adventure Game, 1980:
"Oh, just one thing. Sorry, but I'm afraid the squares are alive now. You'll be alright so long as you step on the safe squares, but, err, if you go wrong I'm afraid you'll be vapourised, I'm so sorry."

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind. "Pooh!" he whispered. "Yes, Piglet?" "Nothing," said Piglet, taking Pooh's paw. "I just wanted to be sure of you."
(Awwww! My heart's gone all fizzy. Winnie the Pooh, right, is cocking brilliant.)

ICWP a better word to 'fizzy' would be fuzzy. And also I reckon the inappropiate use of 'cocking' to ruin the tone was deliberate. (It is a cute scene though)

I'm actually now annoyed that it looks like I meant to put "fuzzy". I did mean "fizzy". The image "fuzzy" puts in my mind is that the heart is cold, and is erecting its fur for insulation or something. EDIT: BTW, omfg.

Dam you ICWP. Also it DID look like you mean fuzzy. Fizzing makes me think of a sherbet fizzing in water and giving a werid tany taste which is not cute at all.

It isn't cute, I agree, but it perfectly sums up the feeling in my heart when I read that quote.
