Awww...poor Toronto...without power. I hope Tony as well as the other cast is ok. I would have hated if this was the time I went on my trip. I would freak out. any of you affected by this so called 'black out'? i'm glad i live in Arizona..not much happens here.

I live in New Jersey, and in my town we had a brownout, so I guess we were like on the border of the power grid or whatever. My sister works in NYC, and she lost power where she works. My parents told her to get out of the city and go to her apartment in Hoboken (in North Jersey), and then we didn't hear from her for like 5 hours so my mom was freaking out. My sister walked from NYC to Hoboken and it took her like forever. Apparently, there are tons of other cities without power too.

This is gonna worsten our economy a little bit..says my brother. In Phoenix, if we had a blackout, it wouldn't be that much of a big deal like it is in NYC or T.o. all we could do is light candles and have bbq's. ..well, in my neighborhood anyway..

It's a good job it's summer, isn't it? Imagine if the power cuts happened in the dead of winter...

winter, eh...that would DEFINATELY be a bad thing ..especially in Toronto. they say it's hot there now (like 80-90) ..but in phoenix it's like 110 every day. no "torontonians" would survive where we are. i'm sure i could survive their winter, though.

I was kinda suprised how ill prepared Canada was, I'm from the Philippines and we usually get blackouts there but everything is okay when it happens, shops doesn't close, the subway keeps running(run by generators). I guess toronto just isnt used to having blackouts!
