Our next chat will be *SATURDAY* April 8, 2006 at 2 PM EST.
I had taken a break from scheduling chats due to no one showing up to chat! Maybe now we'll have a little bit of a turnout. :-)
If you know how to get to the chat, you're all set. If you're new and would like to learn how you (yes, YOU!) can join us, keep reading!
Instructions for anyone who is unfamiliar with the new chat.
(Looks like alot to do, but actually it's really quick to join up!)
TO GET TO THE CHAT: Click the link at the end of the post.
But make sure you've read the chat etiquette first.
Allow the chat site to load.
(You might get a popup from "CJB Management" saying do you want to install and run "time synchronize" or something. DON'T! It has nothing to do with our chat and is probably *gasp* spyware from the URL-redirection place I'm using. As long as you don't download and run it you'll be safe.
It's not required that you register, but it would make sure no one could impersonate your username and would allow you to have a profile. PLUS a little icon of a guy or woman shows up by your name in the chat depending on whether you checkmark "male" or "female"! You don't want to miss out on THAT do you?
So, now click "register" (lower-left hand corner on the main page) make up a user name, fill in the required fields (only put the first letter of your last name if you want) and click "register." Then close the box, enter your username and password, and click "chat." You should be inside in a few seconds.
The stronger your internet connection, the faster the chat will work for you. And it helps if you're not trying to look at websites while you're in the chat. It speeds things up for your computer.
EVERYONE is welcome to join us, it doesn't matter if you post or not. JOIN IN, it will be fun! So see you there!
Your username and password will always be saved, so you don't have to re-register each month.
Also, ignore the thing that says "Hello, please be polite and Let Us Talk About Sarah Brightman"... that's a leftover from the room's previous purpose. LOL [/i]
So, without further ado, The Chat!
Any problems? Private Message me on this message board and I'll be glad to try and help you!
