HEY ALL How is everybody? My bad for not posting sooner. I get a little nervous. This is all new to me and I type like a harp seal in mittens. Anyhow... I just wanted to drop a little line of thanks on a couple of notes. First, thank you all, in general, for watching the show and for caring about the little world that we have created; about the people, and the mysteries, and the relationships that exist there with your help. These things do not work without a willing and talented audience. Our show (and when I say "our" show that includes all of you, because it sort of is your show, isn't it) has been highly successful and that to a huge large degree has to do with you. I envy your attention to detail and your collective creativity... I read through some of the fanfics and your posts in general, and I am impressed. You guys have tons of wit, and intelligence and, I think I speak on behalf of everyone involved in the production of Black Hole High/Strange Days, when I say thank you for sharing that with us. Secondly; I was out of the country for a while there in the new year, in South America, and, while my Spanish is coming along, it's still pretty rudimentary, so, even among friends and family there, one can still get a little lonely. I found a little internet cafe and would go there daily to check email and I stumbled across this board. It was really good to see some familiar names. I can't really say much about the state of the show (that's not my place). .. But, I think there's more to come.
Jeff

*wipes away touched tear* Thankyou so much! I really don't know what so say after that, really except that it's good to feel appreciated for just being part of a fandom (even if it is the best fandom I've ever been a part of). But we couldn't be fans of BHH without the people who make it and make it what it is. I'm trying very hard not to go all gushy but... you're so lovely! I think this wins the "Nicest post" medal (whcih, due to government cutbacks can only be a medal of gratitude...). Heh... I wish I had some of that wit you mentioned just now

We admire these people from afar, make them our idols, put them on pedestals... and then they go and do something so gut-wrenchingly nice that you're forced to remember that they're just everyday, normal people.
Makes me sick.
Please excuse me... I'm just awestruck.

Aww that was just so nice to read!! As Hailstorm said, we couldn't be fans if it wasn't for the peple who make it!

a bit off topic but can girls naturally type faster than guys coz as far as i can tell they do in general. I don't think it really matters although that's how it looks like. I think it's more that girls can be more of computer freaks. Don't ask me why, just bear in mind that I'm one of them

That was nice of him to keep in touch with some of us fans. You know I've always wanted to say this but didn't really want to waste a thread so here would be nice, anyone else notice Prof Z's accent? I know he's from Nova Scotia and so its more prevelent especially when he says Lucas's name, its like "Luuu-cas" (the 'cas' part being short). And when he says "code" and blah blah blah, sorry now you see why I didn't want to waste a thread anyway, that's my observation I guess its my phonetics class, anyways, it was cool for Jeff to post. *Quickly dashes out *

You know I've always wanted to say this but didn't really want to waste a thread so here would be nice, anyone else notice Prof Z's accent? I noticed how he pronouces 'Josie' is different to everyone else... its kinda like 'Joe-Zee'. Not that it matters - he's too cool.

rofl, what is a harp seal in mittins. actually, i dont wanna know, itmight frighten me. about a third of that collective wit is due to me. ;D the actors/actresses/directors read fanfics? i hope they're not creeped out by some of the more "creative" ones. heh, jeff prolly has the biggest fan following on these boards, with the possible exception of robert. that was such a nice post. come back soon, jeff.
