You were replying to the person above you who apparently did not realize that Josie and Vaughn kissed in Transference. So you apparently have minimal reading comprehension.

I dont know, its my opinion I guess, but thats all.......I'm just a J/vVshipper and a C/M shipper I guess, its who I want to see together I guess. I don't want to see Corrine and Marshall together. They don't fit and the show's storyline doesn't favor the two together. I'm for C/V and C/Stu C/V combines brains with popularity. Vaughn's life needs stability, which Corrine has. And imagine their children - brains + popularity! C/Stu combines brains with brawn. When Stu is focused, as we've seen him in Camouflage, he's can do practically anything. Corrine is capable of providing focus. Corrine also needs someone who she can relax with - Stu is quite the comic relief. And imagine their children - brains + brawn! *lol* C/M combines brains with brains. The overall result is that they're boring unless something, such as themselves sabotaging their relationship, keeps the relationship interesting. Let's face it, in real life, people don't stay in boring relationships. They're be too busy out proving each other's brains to even have children Why should Josie and Vaughn be together? Because, when together, their lives become exciting/interesting (more than when apart). Their relationship isn't boring and there is the need to prove it can work - his father is the enemy and her mother is trying to destroy the family business sort of thing. Josie gives Vaughn assurance in what he does (Science is the only class he is improving in, as said in Lifetime). Vaughn wants someone to believe in him and trust him, which Josie does. Vaughn gives Josie the acceptance she has been looking for her entire life - he's not just any other boy, he's 'Mr. Popularity' who could hang out with the in crowd and the cheerleaders but instead chooses to be around Josie. Bad thing for Vaughn is that Josie's life is chaotic and he doesn't need any more drama than he already has - his father being a major league bad guy and all (from the Science Club's perspective). Bad thing for Josie is that Vaughn is unable to keep her out of danger - he actually puts her into the line of danger sometimes. Those are things that they continue to work on though. It also stirs up the plot for Victor because he has to try to balance his hatred of Josie against the possibility that he may not be able to keep his son away from her. So there, a smart analysis (something beyond the "they're perfect together!" because they really aren't) of why Josie and Vaughn should be together.

Hi. I am a Newbie, as you can probably guess from the status. I do think that the characters of Josie and Vaughn, were meant to end as a couple or at least heading that way (had the production company not dissolved).
The characters were set to be couples from the very beginning of the series and you can see glimpses of it in most episodes.
The first episode, Wormhole, just established the standing of each character. Josie's waywardness, Victor's wariness of it and Vaughn's issues with is father.
Second episode, Invisible, where Vaughn bumps into Josie and picks up her journal gives him the riot act and when she backs away he has a smirk on his face and the guilt he feels when she confronts him (not actually knowing whether he had done it).
In Magnet, he is the one who comes up with the idea on how to drain the energy out of Josie and his expression when he says 'frying' is priceless. Also his reaction to when Josie thanks him and he backtracks and so does she. And lastly, him running in and trying to see if it worked.
Then there is Fate where they both get sucked in. The storyline speaks for itself. His parents meet at school and his parents are quite the opposite in the same way Josie and Vaughn are (I know they share backgrounds but they don't have the same personality - Josie is impulsive and very reactive and as a general rule Vaughn isn't). As well as the fact (when we later find out) that Josie was meant to deliver the ball, so she was in effect responsible for his parents meeting.
Storm is yet another example of their relationship. Vaughn continues to cause weather disruptions (it feels weird typing that) until he finally tells Josie the truth about the journal incident and she walks away despondent. In the end when he goes to her drama class and tries a hasty retreat then apologises and the look of relief when Josie decides to put him on 'friendship probation' is once again proof.
In Lost she goes straight to Vaughn for her little expedition and his remark about holding hands and the need to justify it was once again proof that the writers intended those two to get together.
Of course in Shrink she confided in Vaughn about her mother's visit and Vaughn tries to keep her from fighting and tells the other girl to 'back off'.
I could literally go on about this through from Season 2 to Season 3 but I won't.
My point being that the characters were set up to be a couple or at least have 'chemistry'.
They work well together because of the fact they share a similar background (the one parent, parental issues, the left twisting DNA, from-the-future parents). There has been talk of trust issues that they would have - the only time Josie stopped trusting Vaughn was during Stopwatch and even then it wasn't because either did something wrong but more like they were set up and during Nocturnal, she started to trust him again. Plus they haven't had the time to work out their relationship as such but it was evident that the writers had planned them to eventually be together.
However Series 4 was a complete dampener on their storyline (actually on all the personal storylines) but then they had to answer all the other questions. Though one thing did come of it is that Victor finally approved of Josie (the interaction before the final confrontation with Avenir). If they'd had a few more episodes to work through it, it would have been better. But I am glad they left it open-ended.
