Did anyone see Robert on "Veronica Mars" last night?!!? He played a gay teenager who was being made fun of; it was a really brief appearance but it was definitely him. By the way -- for all of you who haven't tuned in yet -- "Veronica Mars" is the best show you're not watching!!

I have no desire to watch Veronica Mars, so if someone wants to post a screenshot or something, go ahead.

Yea I read on another message board that Robert was on Veronica Mars. I never watched the show, so I have no clue. It's cool to see him do other guest appearances.

Guessing it's just a small role, and a one-off thing. Alyson Hannigan also appeared in it (not that episode, though). It sounds intriguing on that alone.

Robert's role did seem to be a one time thing -- I was so surprised I had to rewind tivo several times to make sure it was really him! Alyson Hannigan has been in several episodes. I loved her in Buffy and it's great to see her in a totally different role; I wish they'd make her a regular but I heard she may be getting her own show. You know, a lot of people have compared Veronica Mars to Buffy; as a diehard Buffy fan I've got mixed feelings about that especially b/c I worry that it will turn some Buffy fans off. It shouldn't though, the shows are different in many ways. I think the real similarity is that Veronica is a "Buffy-like" heroine, she's been handed more than anyone her age should have to handle and she manages to remain strong and good in the face of real darkness (the human-kind, not the supernatural kind

I remember Channel 7 saying they'll screen the show this year, but they haven't done it yet. And I hate Channel 7--they screwed up Firefly, Buffy, Angel the X-Files and they randomly take of Lost and Desperate Housewives or show them late/early. Channel 9 aren't much better... I am interested in seeing the show, but I might have to wait for the DVD release and import it.

He looks thinner. I guess he lost some weight/hard muscle.

Could just be the clothing that makes him seem smaller. But yeah, he does look smaller almost like between TZF and BHH

No, no it wasn't "blink and you'll miss it" -- I'm sorry I gave that impression. He was in several scenes and helped Veronica with her "Mystery of the Week" (on the show there are several season long mysteries and then each episode has a mini mystery.) I only meant that I was so surprised to see him that I was thinking "am I imagining this?"
I think it's the clothing that makes him look a bit thinner. I think you can download episodes somewhere, I'll try to find out.
