CHAPTER 1:
It was a few months after Josie Trent's return. Since staring college she went for a walk everyday. Twice a day, to clear her head of all the thoughts that filled her head as the day went by.
One question that wouldn't go away. Just wouldn't leave no matter how hard she tried to forget about it.
Her science club friends lived close by. Lucas lived next to her. Marshall on the other side of her. Corrine three blocks down from Josie and Vaughn and his parents had bought a new house in the same area as Corrine's parents. In fact they lived right across from each other. Professor Z. would come by and visit Josie and her mother ever so often.
They all stayed in touch with each other. Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, after classes and Saturday and Sunday, they'd spend with each other. Some spent even more time with each other. No matter what Josie couldn't figure out the answer to her question. "Why didn't Vaughn kiss me?" Josie questioned. She continued walking.
She was in the area where Vaughn and Corrine lived. Ever since they started college. Marshall and Corrine had fallen out of love with each other. They'd grown apart and surprisingly. Vaughn and Corrine where getting closer. Josie and Lucas where getting rather close also. Marshall. If he wasn't with his friends or band members. He was working. One of the reasons Vaughn and Corrine had become so close.
Josie's cell phone began to ring. It was Lucas. " Hello?" Josie asked into her cell phone. "Lucas. Don't call me baby." Josie giggled into her phone. Josie saw a car driving up to Corrine's house. A nice black sports car with tinted windows and large rims on the tires. Josie was only a few yards away. The person in the car honked the horn causing Corrine to appear outside.
"Yeah. I'm still here." Josie answered to Lucas over the phone. She spent so much time looking at the car. "Oh. I'm in Corrine and Vaughn's neighborhood. Yeah. She just walked outside." Josie informed a inpatient Lucas.
"Hey mom. I'm going to the movies with Vaughn. Don't worry, I'll be back before 10: 30pm. Vaughn' ll make sure. " Corrine called to her mother before closing the door. "Vaughn?" Josie said out loud. "No. It's Corrine. She's going to the movies with him." Josie answered. "I' ll call you back later. Love you. Bye."
Josie hung up her phone and ran over to a bush to wait and see what would happen. Corrine quickly ran over to the black sports car and tapped on the window. The driver rolled down it's window. Josie was stunned by the person in the car.
"Oh my gosh... it's VAUGHN." Josie whispered to herself. " Hey. Ready to go to the movies?" He smiled opening the car door and stepping out of the car. "Yeah. I'm so excited. OUR FIRST DATE." Corrine squealed, as Vaughn grabbed Corrine by the waist and hugged her. After breaking away from the their hug. Vaughn grabbed Corrine by the chin gently and pulled her lips to his.
CHAPTER 2:
That one action answered Josie's question. "He with Corrine." Josie said to herself. "What about Marshall? Does he know? I HAVE to tell Lucas." Josie said reaching for her phone. She watched Corrine and Vaughn break away from their kiss. Vaughn was smiling ear to ear. Josie had noticed that Corrine was wearing a ring finger.
"Yeah it's me Josie. Lucas listen. Meet me at the movie in 20 minutes, and bring Marshall with you." Josie shouted into the phone. Vaughn walked Corrine over to the passengers side and opened the door for her. He kissed her one more time before helping her into her seat and closing the door. Josie waited for them to leave. Vaughn jogged to the drivers side of and hopped back in the car.
As they pulled away from Corrine's house Josie turned around and ran back to her house to pick up her car. About 15minutes later Josie arrived at the movies, where Lucas and Marshall were waiting for her.
"Why am I at the movies? I'm suppose to be at my band rehearsal in an hour." Marshall complained as they walked into the movie theater. " Because. Your girlfriend is with Vaughn. Don't you care at all about that?" Josie replied rolling her eyes. "Like I really care, if Corrine's going out with Vaughn. Not like we're..." Marshall stopped himself. Josie and Lucas looked at each other. "Not like you're what?" Lucas questioned. "Nothing. Don't worry about it." Marshall covered up quickly.
"Whatever Marshall." Josie said moving up the line.
"What movie are they in anyway?" Lucas asked. "Not sure. We'll check them all." Josie requested. "Yeah. We should see if we spot them laughing or doing "other stuff." Lucas laughed.
They bought tickets and just as they had thought. They saw Corrine snuggled in Vaughn's arms. They were seated in the back of the theater kissing and giggling with each other.
Josie and Lucas were on their way to stop Corrine and Vaughn when Marshall grabbed them by the shoulder. "You guys maybe we shouldn't. Maybe they'll tell us when they're ready. Besides Corrine and I have been having some problems lately. Maybe it's best we broke up." Marshall confessed.
Lucas and Josie were shocked by what he had just said.
"So you're saying that you and Corrine aren't ACTUALLY together anymore?" Lucas questioned. "Yeah. I've been cheating on her for a while now." He confessed once again. "You have? With who?" Josie questioned hurt. "You don't wanna know. I'm just gonna leave." Marshall said leaving the theater.
"Wow. I thought, he loved Corrine, and he's the one who's cheating. We'll so is she. But it's probably for a different reason." Josie whispered following Lucas out of the theater. "You never know, Josie. They're might be a reason." Lucas said stepping over to the side.
The movie had finished, and people were coming out of the theater. Vaughn and Corrine soon appeared holding hands and talking about the movie. "They do make a cute couple." Lucas confessed. "Yeah. They do. We better leave before they see us." Josie replied.
"Night Josie, drive safe." Lucas smiled before closing the door to Josie's car. "Okay. I'll see you in class. Love you." She replied. "You too." Lucas smiled before making his way to his own car.
Today was a weird day. But nothing could compare to what was going to happen tomorrow.

He put it on and grabbed his black sneakers, along with his backpack, textbooks, car keys, and a toaster pastry. Then headed out the door.
Marshall arrived at the school. He looked at his clock radio, it read " 7:45a.m."
"Hey Marshall." Greeted Lucas

"Have you seen Josie. I've been looking for her everywhere?" Lucas said with a smirk."

"Hey Corrine." Marshall replied. He had his head propped up on his palm.
"Are you okay?" Corrine asked. She reached out to touch Marshall's back.
"I'M FINE...CORRINE!" Marshall shouted giving Corrine a mean look.
"SORRY MARSHALL!" Corrine cried. Vaughn placed his hand on Corrine's shoulder and walked her to the nearest table.
Marshall turned around and watched Vaughn pull out Corrine's seat for her. Josie came over to the table where Corrine was sitting and sat in the seat next to her.
"Mind if I sit here?" Josie smiled.
Vaughn looked at Josie and then at Corrine.
"No... not at all." Vaughn sighed. He looked back at Corrine, grabbed his gym bag and headed to a available table.
"Hey Marshall . You alright buddy?" Lucas smiled taking the empty chair next to his best friend. Marshall didn't answer , he just turned to Lucas and sighed.
The professor walked into the room and noticed Marshall's unusually behavior.

"Yeah, I guess every guy can't have a girl as WONDERFUL as Corrine. Can they?" Marshall smiled placing his arm around Corrine's shoulder.
She looked at Marshall, and then at Vaughn.
"Um I gotta go to the ladies room, will you excuse me, a second." Corrine pushed Marshall's arm away and jogged to the ladies room.
"Guess she had to go." Marshall chuckled taking Corrine's seat.
Josie looked at Marshall and quickly stood to her feet and pulled him aside.
"What are you doing Marshall? Jealously isn't the way to make Corrine like you anymore. Besides taunting her like that it's only making things worse with you and her." Josie fussed folding her arms.
"I'm not jealous Josie. Just trying to make Corrine confess." Replied Marshall.
Josie rolled her eyes. "Well it's obvious it isn't working. I'm gonna go see if she's okay. Hopefully she'll end up with Vaughn." Josie said making her way to the ladies room.
