We dont know anything about his family, but its implied that he either didnt have a good relationship with his father, or he died when Z was young.

Hey Jeff, did they tell you anything about Z's background? It seemed kinda random to insert that little "daddy moment" about Z in Transference, then never follow it up.

They were probably intending to follow it up, like having Josie (Who has a strained relation ship with her mother) or vaughn (who has a strained relationship with his father) go into the past and meet young Z (Which is where they would tell us his name), who is parentless/neglected/not good with parents. Just to realise how lucky they actually are.... it sounds like a BHH episode.
Cloggin it up with my fellow sheep on cloud nine.

I believe we were going to follow it up... but then it started to rain and we had to stop playing and come inside. Bah, no fun. Still, there are plenty of fun indoor games. How about Duck Duck Goose?

I sort of like Duck Duck Goose, but it gets annoying when someone says the same word too many times.

I believe we were going to follow it up... but then it started to rain and we had to stop playing and come inside. *sigh* it's just not fair is it? You never know, fingers crossed we might get a book/special/movie whatever, with some of the issues resolved..... just gotta keep level headed I doubt he was neglected or abused, it's a little dark for BHH, he was probably adopted out or something. The 'strained relationship' plotline has been used twice. (Three if ya count Marshall and Grant) *tut tut tut* Sheep and their theories.

The shows been knocked on the head! Well.... not officially, but it'll most likely be official this June/July. I am sticking by my adoption theory! And... well, I challenge you to proove me wrong. I am THE Irish sheep mutant.

Nah, adoption works better.
Don't mock the accent, sheep are very testy!

Maybe, he had a hard and bad relationship with his parents and run away from home to start a new life.
