Jim said we would get significant clues as to who the Janitor is in Season 3 and Culture also had clues...so he has to be someone other than just himself with Jim saying that...
so eliminate improbable Janitor possibilities:
[/li][li] Victor - not at all likely - 99 & 44/100 at zero possibility
[/li][li] Durst - obvious reasons as to why - zero possibility
[/li][li] Josie - also obvious reasons as to why - zero possibility
[/li][li] Corrine - also obvious reasons as to why - zero possibility
[/li][li] Prof Z - not likely - near 99 & 44/100 at zero possibility
[/li][li] Tyler & Will & Jarrod & Lefler & Grant - not around for Culture so not likely candidates - near 98% at zero possibility
[/li][li] Madison & other non-regular female cast - obvious reasons again - zero possibility
[/li][li] Stew - most likely not - 95% at zero possibility
so none of these appear to be likely candidates to actually be the Janitor...[/color]
which brings us to:
[/li][li] Marshall & Vaughn & Lucas - most likely to be possible candidates to actually be the Janitor - high possibilty - too close to call as of present status
[/li][li] unknown person - could have gone unnoticed in Culture - possibility at about 50%
these are the most likely candidates of all BHH characters... and only Jim knows who the Janitor actually and really is and his true indentity...[/color]
and as for Culture: Marshall was the one who comforted Josie about her mom bonding with Josie2...
and it would be very nice if Jim would someday tells us who the Janitor really is or least gives us some really strong clues *nods*

Marshall is not the Janitor--it's just... stupid, for lack of a better word. Theres no real pay off and it would seem more like a cheap 'look at our l33+ unguessable plots' thing.
Besides, did Jim ever say it was someone that the science club knows? I don't think so. The only real hints that I got, was that the Janitor is definitely from the future, he was not on Mr. Avenirs side and that he is looking out for the science club.

I agree with Menack and Gouki - Jim probably didn't mean 'who he is' as in 'who is he from a list of people we know' (because all of the guesses have clutched at straws. All that's missing from the Marshall hypothesis is 'He wears glasses in ____ so he must be the janitor!') but rather 'who he is as a person' - we learn more about what he's about, who's side he's on etc.

[glow=blue,9,999]I kind of think that the Janitor might be Professor Zachary. He has the same blue eyes, & he wears glasses, & he cares about the Science Club Students just like Z does.[/glow]

if Marshall really is the Janitor then he could be called Mopshall...*hehehe* ;D ;DUntil Jim says for sure who the Janitor is I can think, guess, and speculate as to the Janitor's identity...only Jim and maybe his writers and crew know the Janitor's real identity...so I'm waiting for an answer from them...
seems to be five possibilties that he could be:
Marshall, Vaughn, and Lucas are three
'Mr Mystery or Mr X'...and unknown person not revealed to the viewers yet...is fourth
and Josie's dad...is the last and fifth
mostly I hope that Jim will reveal the Janitor's true identity and then we will know without a doubt who the Janitor truly is...and also hopefully his agenda too...

I'm going with the Janitor being the janitor... I mean he's skilled in cleaning and all. He tried carpentry but he made the owl fall, now I don't know if it was due to the fact that he just thought it was tacky but he did.

He was reaching for something & he accidentally kicked it.[/glow]

maybe the Janitor is Josie's father you know...cause no one knows anything about him...the same Josie said it on Shrink The "janitor is Josie's father" or "Marshall/Lucas/someone else is the janitor" is becoming an annoying fan-induced storyline. Would anyone really find it funny or interesting (no one better find it original) if the janitor walked up to Josie during a critical episode and said "Josie, I am your father" or "I am Marshall from the future."?

it would be more like with Josie2...the viewers are privy to her and her activities while the characters are not conscious of her at all...
essentially a wink at the viewer...
maybe "here's who the Janitor really is ___" ... "let's see how long it takes the characters to figure it out if they do"... very mysterious like so many other situations with BHH...
well that's how I like to think it would be...

Ok, I'm down for what you all are saying but I don't think the Janitor ends up being anyone. Though I did have my money on Vaughn...
I see his dad losing everything as the mighty Corrine has come and taken over all Pearydyne crushed it into some sort of Baxter building of hugely calculated mathematical statistics and logics as she exposes the black hole to everyone and is now rich and powerful, while Vaughn is mopping up the halls, raking the leaves and snooping.
Then again it could have been Marshall's failed attempt to promote Magnet 360 and has left him bankrupt as he invested all his savings and forgot to apply for scholarships...
I'd place Lucas there because being the playa he is, he could have accidently fouled up some of the plays and have tons of baby mamas and because of his eccentric conspirital (yes, I make this word up!) self, been blocked from employment due to some psychoanalysis test failing. So he returned to BHH where Dursty baby employed him... he now goes by the name of The Janitor (a name he also uses at his other job as a male stripper).
As you can see I've made up some really quirky analogies only because I feel us finding out who the janitor is doesn't rely on him being a particular person... I haven't seen all of season 3 yet, but from what I know I have a feeling Corrine knows who he is... she's a sneaky little one...
I say this because in all their conversations she never asks who he is, she's all about carrying on the convo, having full out deep convos with him... I mean if it was me, I'd be like... "um, what?! Why are you talking to me, are you feeling alright?" Then continue my journey to the principals office where I would relay that the janitor is making me uncomfortable... and freaking me out
But if you watch back their conversations you'll see how they pan out, he doesn't leave her their in bewilderment but rather in an "ahh, I dig what your sayin, good lookin out J" kind of vibe.
And she ain't got no mirror opposite... strange days there, eh... lol, get it?! (I'm corny... got new info, so very happy)

okay, here's a new twist on the Janitor...
we know Josie2 is a clone...
so maybe the Janitor is a clone too...

so maybe the Janitor is a clone too...That was totally random. Atleast base it on something.

That was totally random. At least base it on something. okay...meh... the Janitor knew exactly where to send the new 'hatched' Josie2...clones have to stick together...who else would they possibly have? he stated he's "just the Janitor"...Josie2 had no idea of her name either...although we've never actually heard her say "I'm Josie2" nor the Janitor say "yo get over here Josie2"...maybe her name is the 'timekeeper'...or the 'clockwatcher'...or 'destinyprotector'...or maybe even 'dustmop'... would actually make sense that the Janitor would be a clone...that way they (whoever they are) would have had a 'clean slate' to teach how to take care of everything and keep everything in proper order. need more?
