would actually make sense that the Janitor would be a clone...that way they (whoever they are) would have had a 'clean slate' to teach how to take care of everything and keep everything in proper order. need more? No, it wouldn't. They wouldn't need a clone for this "clean slate" idea of yours. You're just making things up.

No, it wouldn't. They wouldn't need a clone for this "clean slate" idea of yours. so it's only a good idea if it agrees with you You're just making things up. well I'd hope so considering it is a fictional show. if anyone thought it was real and not made up then that'd be reason to be worried about them.

Is this thread supposed to be serious or humorous? If it is supposed to be serious, all of these random, baseless "theories" are only going to keep newbies from reading when we direct them here when they see how many pages it is. If it is supposed to be humorous, then I'm a little annoyed because we've been leading people with serious questions/theories to here.

all we know for sure about the Janitor is that he is not Blake Holsey, and assume he's not a former female...
Jim, Outthere, and any other writers/crew members/producers please at least tell us if any of our theories about the Janitor are going in the correct direction, if we're close...please give us something about the Janitor...

I think that the Janiter is someone else. I think he is a time traveler that is there to fix the future. But I think he does it on the down low so he doesn't mess up the timeline of the future. I don't think he is one of the characters for the science club. I think he someone on his own.

I actually like the idea of him being Vaughn and him being a clone...so what if we combined these two theories?
Both Josie and Vaughn have weird reversy DNA. Josie has a clone. Who's to say that the reason it's all reversed isn't because she was cloned? So maybe Vaughn was cloned too, somehow...plus it was "suggested" that the Janitor also has reversy DNA. So maybe Janitor is really him, from the future, travelling back and forth in time with Josie2 trying to fix everything because the Janitor aka future-Vaughn has seen everything and stuff goes wrong and he goes back to fix it...and who better to partner up with than your girlfriend's clone? Eh?
Sorry if this idea's completely braindead...I haven't seen every single episode and i really just started getting into BHH by the end of season 2...if my theory doesn't work...well, I tried...

Who's to say that the reason it's all reversed isn't because she was cloned? Because Josie was cloned seperated from the DNA of Josie2. The clone's cells came from Josie's gum when it was independant from Josie. What occured to the DNA of the clone's cells when the cells were multiplying wouldn't affect Josie's cells. So maybe Vaughn was cloned too, somehow...plus it was "suggested" that the Janitor also has reversy DNA. So maybe Janitor is really him, from the future, travelling back and forth in time with Josie2 trying to fix everything... Thing is, Corrine and Lucas would also have the reversed DNA with this theory. The wormhole doesn't do it by itself. There has to be a different factor.

Well, Lucas in Genome got affected when something messed with disconnected cells of his.
I dindt really like Genome's "science" in that episode.

The attitude of Lucas was altered but was his DNA? (<--reaching for an answer). If you really want to hear a weak reason, there is "Genome was a filler episode."

Here's a new thought about the Janitor's true identity...
Maybe the Janitor is really Lucas... now that one confuses me.....

There has to be a different factor. If you're talking about at the end of Chirality, it didn't seem it was suggested that the Janitor also has reverse DNA, it was more like he was listening to Josie and Vaughn's discussion about knowing their DNA is reversed, which they weren't supposed to know, and he was doing 'damage control' again.
And I still think Josie and Vaughn's reverse DNA has something to do with being in the wormhole with the qigong ball when it 'evolved' into the floating qigong ball. They were the only ones with the infamous ball when it was created. Therefore, the only ones who would possibly have a reason for reverse DNA.
