well, if anyone had any questions about what happened with Vaughn's room, it appears (if I read it correctly off my fuzzy picture from that day) that Diana got it (room 36). So it is still empty as of the episode after this episode.

guess that was really convenient of Vaughn to move out so there would be an empty space for DM/VFT to take over...even if it was temporary...
ewwww...I wouldn't want to be the next to have that room...just think of the lingering odor......

Something I forgot tomention above. the music in the episode when Stew got hit in the head and at the end of the episode when Josie and Lucas and Marshall and Corrine are resolving what happened. Did anyone think it was so Oregon Trail (one of the later versions)?

For Mac, the thing that may support kaytee's theory on Corrine: Yes, i have mentioned this before, by the way. Did anybody notice how Corrine has changed in this episode? She snuck into Diana's room to investigate, even though that is tresspassing which is against common sense rules (things like 'do not tresspass, 'don't take things that don't belong to you', 'don't hit people' etc) and most likely against school rules too... In the past Corrine would not have broken the rules without being dragged along by the momentum of others (see Lost: "We're going to find them, aren't we?"). And she probably went off campus without permisson (athough Z would proabably cover for her and Josie). So if Corrine is now more likely to break rules and act a bit on impulse, if you got her angry enough (and not red-hot, spur of the moment rage but the cold, quiet anger that brings about the most terrifying revenge) then she may not be unwilling to cross over to the other side and begin work with Victor. Victor may not be 'the bad guy' but he is to the science club (minus Vaughn), and that's what is important here.

Yes, she is being very sneaky and her just knowing about the most obscure things makes me question who she really is. I mean a Tesseract? Z knew about it but not that much, why would Corrine have interests in just knowing about it? For fun? I haven't seen the whole of season three but her manner so far, her constant storming out; her project on cold fusion and add a model for the reactor; hmm, its as if she wanted to create an alternative power source just cause, even if it was all 'theoretical'. I may be reaching but once I have all the material together it'll be more comprehensionable (is that even a word).

I'd always thought Corrine knew all of these things simply because she is Corrine Baxter, girl genius and perhaps has indulgent parents who would get her any literature she wanted to fuel her intellect... So the question is: why hasn't she been moved up grades? I don't know about the system in Canada but a child prodigies in the UK have the tendency to be studying A-levels at the age of 12... It is a bit of a leap to infer from this that she's a Pearadyne plant or somebody put there on purpose by 'the Other Side' to monitor events and keep them ticking over... but we've seen that pretty much anything can happen. We know that there was a summer holiday between the begining of season 2 and Nutrition so maybe Victor (or whoever) got to her then - she was genuine at first but now she's a double agent? If I find time, I'll watch series 2 again and see if her behaviour changes at all after Nutrition... The thing about her designing a cold fusion machine is very interesting... And it would add an even further reason for her to be angry at Vaughn for stealing her plans: it isn't nice when you're trying to impress the boss and then somebody sweeps in and steals your idea...

Especially the boss's son.
HS, I might just watch season 2 again as well to see any behavioural patterns.
And yes, in Canada really intelligent people do in fact skip grades. Hmmm....

I've just thought... how much of a kick in the teeth would that be for everybody if Corrine turned out to be a spy? Geeze... For Lucas to have been accusing Vaughn for so long, only to find that the untrustworthy one was right under his nose all along, completely unexpected... For Marshall to have one of his closest friends (especially since Lucas has started spending more time with Josie than is probably healthy and going off on his own monitoring Vaughn etc.) betray him... For Josie to find that her own room mate and (arguably) best friend has been lying to her for so long... And then there's Vaughn - Corrine really could know more about his mom than she's letting on.. The Pain, the Strife, the DRAMA! It would be ace!

okay...so has anyone wondered...with what you're talking about now and all that...if that's the reason 'Friction' exists...to show Corrine's connection to and with Pearadyne?

I haven't seen Friction yet, but I feel it will open open new evidence to my theory.

Perhaps, I didn't think so at the time but it could be. I'm yet to screencap it so when I do, I'll pay close attention and see if I can pick up any clues... She may not have remebered the event Vaughn said she did (I'm trying v. harn not to spoil this too much) but perhaps if she had another connection with Pearadyne, that would explain her unwillingness to cooperate a bit.

Additional thought about Corrine. At least her mother attended Blake Holsey High, though it's not stated when (Equation). Perhaps she was there with Victor and Sarah, or fell in with them when Pearadyne Industries.

well, Marshall and Corrine weren't really holding hands at the end of Allure; they were more like...arm linking.
