Geography was never my thing either (Although, geography teachers are good for being sardonic about), but I'm sure Birmingham is slap bang (...I don't ususally say that either. I don't know what's come over me recently.) in the middle of England?

The MIDLANDS? Maybe...
I am the best in my year at Geography. 96% in the exam! But at school its all geography skills and not facts. I think its better that way. My teacher says "When you go for a job they wont ask 'Whats the capital on Chad'. They dont care if you know that but they want to get someone with skills" I think that is actually true.
Its a good job since I know nout where places physically are but Im VERY good at the skills work. I think the one rule to remember in Geography when discussing subjects and having a debate wheter something should be built or not etc. is to not say 'yes' or 'no' but to have a compromise. that always gets best marks and its an actual good solution to problems.

Just so you dont all cry and wonder where I am I will be on holiday tomorrow for a week! [glow=red,5,000]PARTY!!![/glow]And Brum probably wouldn't be classed as north, but a Brummie would certainly be classed a Northerner .

You mean, partay.
So, we're West Midland Northerners? What insane geographic logic is this?

P.S. Birmingham is not THAT far north. Not enough for me to be called a northener anyways. Im from south Brum anywho. I know a guy from Yorkshire. Although he's been down South for quite a while. LPE 9. 9 was John Lennon's favourite number - in fact, one of his songs, from the 1970s, is called Number 9 Dream - it's one of my favourite John Lennon songs. I like the number 9 too, although my favourite number is 7. That's supposed to be a magical number, by the way - if you're the seventh son of a seventh son, you're supposed to have some kind of powers. ITV2 showed E. T. I watched it (and taped it - I hope it taped correctly; it's more difficult recording stuff from digital channels.) It was really nice to see it again - I'd forgotten that all the boys flew over the sunset on their bikes.

Hehe. Reminds me of a scene from Green Wing - I side with Martin here... So, we're West Midland Northerners? What insane geographic logic is this? Nooo nononono. A Northerner isn't necessarily one from the North - it's a particular type of person
Hmm. My surge protector just exploded. Literally. I mean like this: < Islander's surge protector. ...except without the flame. But there was a Bang. And smoke. And a fair bit of black soot. And ... oh darn, the fuse has gone too. Bit of a long-shot, but I think I need a new surge protector...

Mac- I misread your post. You were ranting about current children's programs, then you said ATHF was stupid, so I thought you were including it with the kiddie shows. I see what you mean now. And you don't have to apologize. You shouldn't be so ashamed of your opinions.
That quote just reminds me again why I hate John McEnroe.
They're all like that. Go ahead and call me stereotypical if you want, but one of the banks I used to take calls on was based in New York; that's where almost all of the callers were from. I don't think they're intentionally rude, they're just in too big of a hurry to be polite. The regular nice-ness and courtesy you're suposed to use in customer service didn't work on them. I found that the more I stood up to them and talked back, the more they respected me. It was bizarre. A totally different mindset that most of the people where I live.
We still have our original NES, and it's the only system we have. The new video games make me motion sick.
Eoposods? The bookworm "eoposod" with Burgess Meredith is the best one.
The Twighlight Zone is actually responsible for one of those childhood memories that haunts me to this very day.
Exactly...the stuff on the flowers isn't honey (at least, not in the form that we eat). Honey is basically just bee vomit.
You beat me to it.
How about we hold it to a vote? Hands up, all those who think it's spam.
Actually, if we want to get really technical, it's double-posting. Over and over again.
Nah, I think it's salvagable. Don't give up so easily.
Lauren- lucky you. I wish my neighbors would move, but they own the place, so I don't think it's going to happen.
If anyone cares, last week with my boss actually went really well. I had a lot more to do than usual (which is good; I like to be busy), and she was actually nice to me! I guess she didn't have anyone else to talk to. Plus we did have some visitors in, so we were all on our best behavior. I'm hoping that last week will show her that I'm good for more than just typing and filing and such.

Not so much less violent, as the violence is less-publicised.
That is such a load of bullkooky. Video Games are still great. There's a lot of crap out there, but people seem to forget that there was a lot of crap back during the 80's and 90's as well. Even if the majority were kooky, there are still some amazing games being produced. Some are sequels, some are sequels that threw everything away and started anew and some are brand new games. Resident Evil 4, the Metal Gear Solid Series, the Metroid series, Timesplitters, Wario Ware, Super Smash Bros., Eternal Darkness, Dead Rising, Fire Emblem series, Shadow Hearts, Project Zero, a majority of Nintendo DS games, Viewtiful Joe, F-Zero GX, Gunstar Super Heroes, Advance Wars, KoF: Maximum Impact, Dragonball Z: Budokai 3...
No, they really are not. There so many piles of kooky for all consoles ever released that "all the games for the NES or SNES are classics" is wrong on so many levels.
Oh, and Nintendo is the company. The outside-of-Japan equiavlent of the Famicom is the Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES.

I didn't expect aliens at all. But if I could choose an alien I'd like to exist, I would definitely choose Alf. You didn't know that and you were asking my age. How nice. Our literature teacher calls us all nihilists. How about we hold it to a vote? Hands up, all those who think it's spam. I see nothing bad in spam. *runs and hides*

MC: They're all getting cut up just as much as I am. However, I am the only one to have aquired a fungal infection. I knew you'd find a way to stand out from the crowd No its having a lot of ideas. How can you catagoricly proove it is spam? (before anyone gets any ideas my warning is for PMing so and the other one was for Anthology of Adam which got deleated and dont count toward my total.) Actually, it was also for some of your posts. Three different times I deleted a series of posts, you starting atleast 2 of them, and escalating the third . Infact, there was a different series of posts of yours that I should have deleted, but I fell asleep before I got the chance Well, I also feel a bit cheated at having an unfinished LPE closed... I could have locked this one instead and let you all wait for HailStorm to open it. Would you have prefered LPE 9 been cheated by LPE 8 running over? We still have our original NES, and it's the only system we have. The new video games make me motion sick. I wish hailStorm had said that so Jesi and I could throw in a joke about her being all up in age ;D ;D ;D Honey is basically just bee vomit. Didn't we all learn that watching Magic School Bus?
