Well, when I first saw the episode Transference I thought it was really odd that when Z is telling Vaughn that stealing is wrong, Vaughn says do you know what it's like to give your father something no one else can (or something to that effect) and Z says, no, he can't even imagine and looks really sad. That made me think what an odd thing to say because every child gives their parent something no one else can. So in a flash of (very dubious) inspiration I thought that Z was also Victor's son and has been disowned, but Victor still likes him a bit, hence giving him the job at Blake Holsey. Then I started to think about their ages... Since Victor was still at school in 1977, he would have to have started having children VERY early and he couldn't have made Z in a Frankenstein-esque fashion (would explain why unrealistically nice) because he wasn't all shifty until the 80s. So I guess Z just didn't have a very good relationship with his dad, which gives him a nice connection with Josie, since sometimes they mirror each other (Nutrition). However, I loved Z's end glance in Fate, whether it means he's an evil spy or just lovely Professor Zachary. Rebecca P.S. If he is a baddie I think my faith in man will collapse.

I'm thinking what happened then, is he did realize that Victor had the missing Chi Gong ball and was using it at Pearadyne. He didn't tell anyone though, because he realized that if he did, Josie would be breaking into Victor's office and house (well even more that she she's done). He has realized that he really can't stop the science club from investigating what's going on, so is doing his best to keep their efforts confined to safe and ethical means.

I wouldn't worry. I don't think Black Hole High does Evil. It does grey areas, complex morals and tricky ethics. Z being a spy wouldn't mean he was evil, it would mean that he had some ethical problems to deal with. It shows that nothing is really straightforward. I wouldn't want Z to be a spy on apersonal level, because he's wonderful and I really want to think he's honest. But as the show goes, I think it would be a good storyline. However, they have enough to deal with if season four ever happens so I wouldn't worry too much

Unless Kelly's hair was red when she was younger but is blonde now (or she dyed it). I'm sure it can happen because my dad was naturally blonde as a young man but by the tie he was 30 it had gone brown (and now it's going grey XD) I was just thinking, Z would have had to be very young when doing work experience at Pearadyne. I guess he shouldn't have been younger than 18 though because surely the deal happened just before he went to college. So Z must be about 33ish. [glow=blue,9,999] Well Jeff is 33 so his character probably is too. He would have been 17 in 1987 which is when he worked for them. So he would be old enough to be Josie's father, not that I'm saying he is.
For those who say that he'd have to have the code to open the door in Wormhole, should also know that both Josie & Corrine both went through that door to get inside Pearadyne. I think that the reason he was able to open the door was because it was malfunctioning due to the accident which is why it locked on the outside & why Josie & Corrine couldn't open it.[/glow]

So he would be old enough to be Josie's father, not that I'm saying he is. [/glow]A father at 17 is questionnable. I don't see some people (sponsers, perhaps certain children's and religious groups) liking that idea. To even try to make it acceptable, he would have had to be married. *imagines* woman walks into Science classunknown woman: "Noel Zachary! I've finally found you!" Marshall: "Who's that?" Prof Z, with gasping for air and backing towards an open window: "she would be...my... wife..." Josie, chuckling: "Your first name is Noel?" [glow=blue,9,999] For those who say that he'd have to have the code to open the door in Wormhole, should also know that both Josie & Corrine both went through that door to get inside Pearadyne. Well, if I have it right from Star Trek, usually wormholes open on a fairly consistant basis. Like what Durst said in Robot "We can start with your office, Professor Zachary. It always looks like a hurricane hit it in there." From this, we can conclude that the wormhole is more active than the show describes. Professor Zachary should know when to keep people out of the office since no teachers/students have disappeared like before the start of the show. What Prof Z knows about Pearadyne, he probably thinks is insignificant - like him working as an intern. Then again, isn't Grant just an intern?

That's very funny, and just like Josie. Well done! Rebecca

lol, their explaination of the ball was real stupid. "the space around the ball lost its gravity"? that makes no sense, since gravity is related to the mass of the object, not the air around it. if it wanted no gravity, it would have to have no mass. but then it could have no acceleration either. stupid fake-science... remiber that we're tallking about the big wormhole varibel here 2 and i do think that he knows more than hes leading on

When Z does that second glace thing at the Quigong ball, I just thought he was thinking where Josie might have lost it. AKA 1977. Sorry my theory is so simple and not really interesting. lol

Your ideas, however, gave me an idea for a fanfic. I have most of it written and some of it posted. It's called Frozen and it's mostly about Z.

I think this board still has a little life in it. Z cant be working with Janitor. In Who he didnt know about Janitor working at Peradyne. Those calls and errands, who knows what they were? Maybe he took a call that gave him too much info so Victor told him everything but he had keep a low profile.
