I didn't say Vaughn was dumb, even prof said it in Transferrence... though Marshall rounded it off by saying "not smart enough" when discussing the Cold Fusion Reactor.
I truly and sincerly know Vaughn's not dumb... I feel he's one of those people who can relate real life events to science... oh who am I kidding, the boy is not the brightest... there I said it. But in seriousness, I won't write him off as dumb...

Kaytee [glow=blue,9,999] Yeah even Professor Z told Victor in the episode "Who" that he's doing very well in Science Club, but in Science class his test scores haven't improved. I think that it's because of Vaughn's dyslexia. I don't know how many people know about it other than him & Lucas, but I bet if Z gave him an oral test he'd probably get a higher test score.[/glow]

Again back to the early episode feeling perhaps she was testing Z to see if he cared enough to prevent her from self-destructing. It seemed important to her that she mean more than just another student to him. interesting theory. If we perceive Josie and Z's relationship to be a daughter-father type thing, Josie testing Z be rebelling to see if Z will give her attention makes sense. Also it was telling that even before the CHiarility switch she was a good teacher. fills in information from "Fate" then, about her teaching ability. On the sort of naughty side, Corporeal punishment was accepted in many places at the time of the founding of the school. If Principal Zachary was adhering to the orginal bylaws, things could have gotten quite ... interesting. *wide-eyed* Z: Josie, I was reading through our guidelines it seems that some of the stuff has not been updated. It appears that this *points to rule* is still allowed... *Josie looks back at Z boldly*, and so is this... *Josie's look turns to worry*, and I don't even need parental permission to do this... *Josie's jaw drops*." Oh and being the oh so observant person I am the date on the e-mail was messed... its read 15-03-37 -0500... what up wid dat? What yea is they in? That's actually the time. 3:03 (and 37 seconds) pm minus 5 hours from some time zone. It either means 5 hours off Greenwich, making it the eastern time zone, or it means to subtract 5 hours to get the time of when it was sent from its respective time zone. I never figured that thing out.

It was in the date column... now I understand that both date and time are written there but clearly there needed to be a date to confirm when the e-mail was sent. Otherwise it would be under question and caught up in legal mess... unless this was a mistake... woohoo! score one for K

About Z being a mean person deep down: probably not, but he is the moral compass there and most of the time abides by the rules. I'm sure he drives the speed limit, separates recycling, etc. He does have the wisdom though knowing sometimes you do need to break the rules to help someone. I did see it, but I gather that was sort of the moral lesson that Corrine needed to learn in "Who". So this episode is about the dark potential of inforcing rules without question or compassion.
Somewhat off-topic. I just realized why Z never told Josie about recognizing the CHI ball in Fate. He realized that if he told her, the first thing she would do is try to break in and find it. I think he realizes that he can't prevent them from investigating the wormhole, but he can do his best to keep their investigation to safe, legal, ethical methods.

[glow=blue,9,999] The funniest part I thought was when Durst's experiment failed & it smelled like sulpher. I don't remember exactly what she said, but I think it had something to do with farts & I thought it was so funny when Z scolded her about talking about those bodily functions & she told him something like calm down you have them too just like everybody else.
