I think this whole discussion kind of proves than Vaughn is NOT the stereotypical dumb jock. There's a lot more to his personality than that.

Would you like them to have an episode where they magical cure a problem that affects many kids, some who probably watch this show? I said I would have preferred that they had never started the storyline, but that's what they went with so you can't really take it away now, it's out of the bottle so to speak. And no quickie solve is exactly going to get with BHH.the idea of Lucas posing any kind of threat to the J/V relationship wouldn't be even remotely significant. Even J/L shippers would think "Geeze, why would he even try?!" He tries because he's Lucas. Why does any guy try out of their league? Because they don't think they're the number they are on the 0-10 scale. They always rate themselves higher. And just might get lucky. It looks as if Mac has been tormented by too many Vaughn-types I'd just make a great child psychologist. I give great advice. Feel free to ask me anything. Or cause them an entire new set of problems. Scott's idea of solving a problem is to distract them with another. ;D

There's a lot more to his personality than that. yeah, we came to that conclusion already. but I think we still got an interesting debate going on the meaning and origin of intelligence. I'm glad they gave him dyslexia. Humanizes him somewhat. Au: distraction is great for relieving physical pain. for emotional pain, you have to find the real source and eradicate it. I mean emotionally, that is. If you have mommy issues, I do not encourage killing your mother.

Don't let Vaughn fool you. He's a Bobby Fisher when it comes to Science... he is having everyone fooled... him and Corrine are not to be trusted...

Indeed It does make a difference. Normally when there's a 'dumb jock' he's just dumb. Dyslexia made Vaugh a 'jock who thinks he's dumb because he sufferes from Dyslexia' - it gave him more of a chance to be intelligent, and it stopped the idea of 'He's dumb. He's just plain dumb. Mentally defficient, took too many softballs to the noggin' LoL... Yes, you have to find a way to change the way they think about it, so it's not causing them so much emotional trauma. It's easy to say, but not so easy to do.

Josie doesnt know vaughn has that does she? That would be in the episode Brainwaves. I'm actually not sure if Josie knows. It may just be Lucas (and school administration) who knows.

I think Vaughn is better now. He has really improved (ithink) since he joined science club. Since hes dyslexic i think that hes pretty smart. Hes not the normal dumdum football player
