Oh cool! I love Psychology - it's what I plan to do my degree in Right-o. thanks for that But, technically speaking, it wouldn't be non-cannon to say, in a fanfic or something, that Z's favourite food is Hotdogs (unless that's contradicted in the show, for some reason)? Yes, it's a pity that they're only in English - BHH is very popular in latin america - it would be really great if they could also be offered in Spanish.

I've seen those webisodes now. That guy is GREAT. He reminds me a little of my old physics teacher, only an over-the-top, caricatured version. I'd love to have had a teacher like that! Only... dumbed down a little. I think I'd have been a little scared if someone acting like Z at his most optomistic was teaching me. Anyway, my favourites were probably Technology, Hemispheres and Echolocation. I wouldn't have thought of duel-layer encryption (Silly me. It seems so obvious now), or the turn-piccy-upside-down trick. We actually have a whole module in my Uni about underwater noise and the "Oi! You! Keep it down! The fish can't talk to each other!" aspect will almost definitely be a part of it. I didn't like Wormhole or Cold. They didn't really seem to tell me anything. In wormhole Z was just going on about how wierd it would be if people used wormholes to come back here rather than giving any sort of opinion or idea as to whether they really exist. Of course these are all first impressions. Yep, Hail. It is Equation. Wish I could just taste the cake. It'd make things so much simpler. What he forgot to tell us is about all the times you have to pull an ingredient out of the finished cake so you can mess around with it and make a new cake. Or a crossaint. Well, since fanfic is mainly a web thing, and people who have access to the web will probably be able to get the Webisodes (unless it's a really slow connection they have), I'd say it was alright to call it canon, if the fic was in English and it wasn't directly contradicted. Non-English fanfics I'm not sure about. Might be better to call it fanon there until Discovery Kids makes translated webisodes. I just noticed your username on the "Newest Member" thing and wondered if it was you. From a newbie, welcome back. Cap'n Trumun Clogg salutes you!

Oh what have I done? I was just expressing my own opinion about the fictional person talking to me freaking me out thing and never said my opinion was correct (that doesn't make sense, I know. Opinions are never right or wrong, that's what makes them opinion) I like the way MC distanced himself from me as soon as everyone disagreed. I get that you were just explaining what I meant and not sharing the opinion, but suddenly it seemed a little 'it was all her, not me!' Ah, sigh. Now, I was offline a day or so to try to do some work, but now I'm back, (having not done the work) and have read all the many new posts. So: JoyFital reads: The idea, Joy and Mirror, is not so much that a fictional character should cross over into reality as it is that characters from reality should cross over into fiction. The task is not on Z to come to you, but for you to imagine that you are a student of Z's, ie; fictional. As to the Wormhole... I think there are two answers to dispel the apparent logic conflict: A) I believe what Z says in the Webisode is that "...I don't know how to find them." That is not contradicted in the series. Z is (un)lucky enough to find himself, literally on top of one, that does not constitute finding one, and... B) The existence of the Wormhole is a secret. Are you a member of the Science Club? Well then why would Z blab about it to you? She pauses, removes glasses and stares into distance. A revelation. She utters 'Ahhhhhhhh' She understands and accepts. Enlightenment. By the way, S.B. Just because I'm not a child doesn't mean I wasn't once and even then fictional characters in reality freaked me out. Like at the end of the Back to the Future cartoon when Doc (played by Christopher Lloyd and not a cartoon) would tell you how to make science stuff. Scared me. And at theme parks when people dress up as things. (panic) I can't remember the names of the webisodes, but I like the drawing one too (haven't tried it yet, thinking of turning it into my party trick) and the code one. Suddenly like wormhole now I understand but hate the noise one because it made me jump. Scowls.

Ian, who wrote for Bill Nye, who is, indeed, the REAL Bill Nye, was the science advisor on Strange Days. He wrote the Webisodes, so, you are getting a bit of a Bill/Jeff combo. I have him credited as writing Chemistry. hum..... wow, so Prof Z is like the Bill Nye reincarnate. Wasn't it mentioned by someone here that Prof Z reminded him/her of Bill Nye? I like the way MC distanced himself from me as soon as everyone disagreed. I get that you were just explaining what I meant and not sharing the opinion, but suddenly it seemed a little 'it was all her, not me!' Ah, sigh. no, it's not that way. I honestly never thought about what you said until you brought it up. Logically, it is illogical that Prof Z talk to the audience. It isn't in his character (as I explained my previous post). Personally, I don't care *heh heh*. Jeff, why weren't the webisodes continued for season 3?

In the webisode about CAKE, (yes, I have a thing about cake, as seen in LPE part 3) I used the list of ingredients to make a cake. I mixed them in a bowl in the order they appeared on the list and cooked them and somehow, magically, despite having done it in a funny order with random amounts, it came out really nice! So even though I was slightly scared of the webisodes, they gave me wonderful cake.
And I was just thinking, the Professor Zachary seen in the webisodes seems much more over the top than the Professor Zachary from BHH episodes. And in Chirality when Durst becomes Professor D, Corrine or someone says that Zachary has become uptight like Durst and Durst has become (oh I don't remember the actual words) easy going like Z used to be. But I always thought Professor D was way more over the top than Professor Zachary ever was. He is nice, she is mad. But I think Z seems more like the over the top D in the webisodes.
So maybe Z is always like that and when he seems more down to earth in the scenes we see it is because generally something terrible is going on and he has to be the sensible adult one... Or something... I don't know... Leave me alone.

Jeff, who are you saying is the "real" Bill Nye? Bill Nye or Ian? Because Bill Nye is real, Bill Nye is his real name and he does science. Just want to be clear on what you're saying.Young Victor reminds me of Bill Nye.Jeff, did you enjoy doing the Webisodes? And did you have any input in them or were they strictly scripted? And which topics did you enjoy the most? Which Webisodes are your favorites? Any chance you're going to do Season 3 Webisodes?

I have a degree in science from Dalhousie (psychology). Ian, who wrote for Bill Nye, who is, indeed, the REAL Bill Nye, was the science advisor on Strange Days. He wrote the Webisodes, so, you are getting a bit of a Bill/Jeff combo. Science is hard, I'm getting slammed in Chemistry but I try to aim high so that I can get the last science credit then no more science classes for me! Well in the future I'm getting a degree in Business Management/Technology and I will start my own business selling electronics and continue to type stories on my pc. A bill/jeff combo is a great combination . Part of the canon? What's that?

Two things....NO; three things: A) She is MAD. In real life... A complete nutter. B) Yes, he is more down to earth because of the serious nature of problems, usually involving the possible or even probably death/disfurgurement/displacement/disgrace of one of his students, and.... C)He is more over the top because the buggers insist on writing 90 seconds worth of material for a sixty second spot. You gotta push it. Also we always tended to shoot them at the end of a very long day. Naormal eppy all day.... Webisode at nap time.

LOL, if that were the case, I would expect lethargic webisodes. Or 2 minute episodes. Whichever worked better for a 60 second spot at naptime. Hehe, Valarie Boyle sounds like fun in real life.

Anyway I'm better at technology so C. That's not nice! Overall! That is so mean meanie! I use to think that Z is nice but now......... to be continued

The cake really was good? perhaps luck? The sound one with the underwater noises made me think too much. I felt bad knowing that sound is so much amplified underwater. You were totally sold out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's wicked. "E" for effort, MC, .... what?! I only see "E"s on the DDR machine. Thanks Jeff. A) She is MAD. In real life... A complete nutter. didn't expect that. She and Michael make a good team? Where is Valerie? I think she's the only one in the major cast, besides Tony, to have not visited here (unless she didn't announce herself). Overall! That is so mean meanie! I use to think that Z is nice but now......... to be continued what? How was point C mean? Now, now, Mac. Play nicely. Canon is real material. J/V is canon. C/Stew is fanon (only truely exists in the fanbase, usually via fanfiction. Also comes from subtext)

He is more over the top - gone mad because the buggers insist on writing 90 seconds worth of material for a sixty second spot - 90 seconds can't fit into a 60 second slot so 30 seconds have to cut off for the 60 second time limit You gotta push it - somehow all the 90 seconds have to be in the 60 second block Also we always tended to shoot them at the end of a very long day - Sounds like a threat. Naormal eppy all day.... Webisode at nap time. -

I'll have to try that now (I too love the cake...) I need to rewatch that webisode. Now now, Mac, that isn't very nice. Remember kids: canons don't kill people, moderators do *gnashes teeth* Oh, excelent! I do with Valerie would come on here some time (does she have the internet?), she's fabulous! I thought that we saw a little bit of Professor D before Chirality. Remember Brainwaves? ;D "I'll see you all... anon "
